tld prices return blank

Recommended Posts

After upgrading to 7.5 as well as PHP 7.2 our domain name search page is returning pricing. We know the issue, but don't know how to resolve it.

The issue here is the Content-Type value being returned is text/html; charset=utf-8 (screenshot attached).

The Content-Type that should be returned is application/json.

The issue remains when using the six theme and standard_cart.

We have reviewed this document:  http://help.whmcs.com/m/troubleshooting/l/680894-troubleshooting-order-form-issues but it did not help.

Has any one else run into this and know the fix?

Hi @aknight,

If you have a custom template, first please ensure that you have applied the template updates for v7.5: https://docs.whmcs.com/Version_7.5.0_Release_Notes#Template_Changes

If the issue persists on the stock "Six" template. Please enable the Setup > General Settings > Other tab > Log Errors option. Reproduce the error. Then review Utilities > Logs > Activity Log.

Please let me know what error is being logged.

John,  I changed back to the stock template, six. Checked Setup > General Settings > Other tab > Log Errors option. Reproduced the error.

Utilities > Logs > Activity Log shows that I changed the template but doe not have any additional errors.

if you've ruled out all the possible causes in your Help docs link, and it's not a custom template issue (http://help.whmcs.com/m/75601/l/869996-troubleshooting-domain-search-returning-no-results), then you may need to open a ticket with support and report back to the thread with the answer... it's likely going to be something specific to your server.

I do have a ticket open, and have the same issue with the six/standard_cart as we do with our custom theme'shopping_cart.

The response from the ticket was:

"Thank you for coming back to me here.

The issue here is the Content-Type value being returned is text/html; charset=utf-8 (screenshot attached).

The Content-Type that should be returned is application/json.

This is described in more detail here: http://help.whmcs.com/m/troubleshooting/l/680894-troubleshooting-order-form-issues

I hope this helps.

Best regards,"

and the document did not help.

then if you're sure it's not caused by anything listed on that page, you'll have to reply to the ticket and tell them... it's possible one of the support guys (or gals!) might reply here, but what they can say to help I don't know - not without ensuring all the causes on that page have been ruled out first..

I just changed from standard_cart to modern. Modern works as expected. Perhaps six did not get updated during the 7.5 upgrade?

good old Modern...

you could try getting the full v7.5 download from WHMCS, and uploading the vendor & templates folders again... shouldn't do any harm as there won't be any customisations overwritten and it may fix the issue.
