  3. Dear WHMCS Community, As we, up to now, did not use this community to promote us and our modules, I'll give it a try. To introduce myself: I am the Middleware Department Lead at HEXONET GmbH in Germany. My team is responsible for third-party integrations (WHMCS, Blesta, ...) and for providing tools for custom integrations. With HEXONET (located in Germany and Canada) you can easily resell and manage domains. We do our best to support our customers and to improve/extend in direction of specific customer requests. We are offering all our modules for free and we have no plans to change this. We have: The HEXONET registrar module that is shipped with WHMCS (get in touch with us to get updates as that version is for behind in point of features). Supporting all known WHMCS Domain Registrar Features e.g. IRTP (contact verification), TLD & Pricing Sync, Premium Domains, etc. In general we can also deal with IDN domain names, even though not officially supported by WHMCS. A drop-catching Addon to get Domain Backorders introduced in WHMCS A SSLCert Addon A PremiumDNS Addon A module for high performance availability check A widget offering you a module version overview (to see if there are new versions available) A widget showing your account balance at HEXONET (as we have a prepaid backend system) A module helping you to import domains in case you're starting with WHMCS / transferred to us using a non-whmcs way Find all our modules in our github company space: https://github.com/hexonet. We have big plans in Queue and as said, we do our best supporting our customers. Patching / Extending our modules in general happens in short as of existing CI / CD automation. If you need assistance when starting with us or if you have any related questions, just get in touch with us / let me know. Best Regards Kai

  6. The hook assigns clients to groups based on the number of active domains in their accounts (Active, Grace and Redemption). This is particularly useful for Domain Pricing slabs. Let's take this code as example. $groups['1'] = '10'; $groups['2'] = '25'; $groups['3'] = '100'; The key of $groups array (eg. ['1']) represents the ID of the group while the value the number of active domains. According to the above configuration, here is what happens: Customer A has 10 domains. He goes to client group ID 2. Next day domains become 9. The the customer is removed from the group Customer B has 99 domains. He still goes to client group ID 2 but will be moved to 3 in case he manages to reach 100 domains Customer C has 250 domains. Group ID 3 The hook runs with WHMCS daily cron job meaning that customers are moved (or removed) from groups on a daily basis. Optionally, you can use the following feature to add some restrictions: $activeCustomers rules apply only on Active customers (boolean true or false) Get the Code »
  7. Is anyone still using eNom? How are people dealing with their constant price increases? They have become as unreliable a partner as cPanel. We got yet another email last night about price increases - unfortunately we still have a ton of domains with them and are kind of stuck. Does anyone have advice on how to transfer out en masse? ie some strategy for transferring out on renewal? Now in addition to the annual spend requirements, they have minimum registration requirements - ie you have to spend $x per year AND register x new domains to maintain your status. We have moved all our new registrations to Hexonet a few years ago because their prices are WAY better, so we register 0 new domains with eNom. I'm trying to rid ourselves of partners I consider unreliable like cPanel and eNom to not have to dread every email that comes from them and just waiting for the next price increase. As an aside, I highly recommend everyone reach out to Hexonet - their prices are dramatically better than even eNom's "Platinum Plus" tier, and they are very flexible. Support has been excellent (they reply in minutes, vs weeks from eNom), and their WHMCS integration is also much better.
  8. Hello everyone, Real quick, I installed Namecheap API and configured WHMCS to auto register domains after payment are received. I did several test registrations with some fails and other successful. I’m now getting live registrations from my existing customers and payments go smoothly with no issues, customer even receives the purchase invoice and domain registration confirmation, but on Namecheap side things are really weird. Checking on the modules log I see the ‘response’ for the actual transaction and apparently the API is not using the correct command or method to create and register the domains. It just checks for the domain. And I say really weird because if I perform a manual registration of the same domain my customer is trying to buy, the registration goes though and it’s updated on my Namecheap account as well. I have to do it a couple of times until it works. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem or maybe documentation I can check. I contacted Namecheap support team several times but all the say is that the API is using the wrong command and that I should update the code 😞 Thank you, - ED
  9. Hi there. I wanted to test purchasing just a domain name, and everything went smoothly, but I never received a welcome email. Do I need to set this up, an dis there a guide to assist me? Also when I try login with the email address I registered with, it just keeps refreshing to the login screen, but in the admin dashboard I can see the details, and can login as the client. Anyone have any idea regarding this? TIA. Ryan
  10. We've had our ENOM connection for years now. No changes to our default nameservers. Suddenly - we cannot register domains. Order Accept Encountered ProblemsNo nameservers are defined for the server this domain is assigned to. Please correct and try again. Anyone else experiencing this?

  16. Hello I am referring to this process on WHMCS user facing for domain transfers (incoming). There is an Authorization Code field that sometimes confuses my clients. The reason being is the domain tld for my region does not need an Auth/EPP code. My questions are: 1. Can I edit the "Help" text that is shown together in that field (on the right in the title area)? If so, please tell me where it is 2. Would it be possible for when a user lands on that page, that the Authorization Code field is hidden by default, and if the tld matches a domain that requires an Authorization Code, then it appears? Thank you
  17. So.. at the start of next month 100's for domains I currently manage for my customers will now be available for a single year registration instead of the current 2 year only registration. Now, I have no issues offering the domains to new customers on a single year renewal option.. but any suggestions on how to change all of my currently active domains which are on a 2 year cycle to 1 year cycle at the next due date?
  18. Hello WHMCS, I have a problem that is bothering me for a while now, the table or grid showing domain, service or invoice info look great on desktops but on mobile it breaks outside the site its layout and causing the max width of the design to drastically increase. Notice where the site has its right border, the table frame is completely outside of it. (causing the entire layout to stretch on mobile) I've noticed that it is present on almost all WHMCS systems, although if the content inside isn't that much it doesn't seem to be a problem. If you have any suggestions? Kind regards, Vincent
  19. I upgraded our WHMCS from version 5.3.14 to version 7.5. After upgrading I have problem with domains/services search from admin area. I'm getting 500 internal server error on AJAX call from whmcs/admin/templates/blend/js/scripts.min.js to whmcs/admin/search.php. I'm using PHP 7.2. Is this problem maybe is related to cUrl version (currently it is 7.59.0)? If someone had a similar problem, or have some idea how to overcome this problem I'd be happy to hear some potential solution. Thanks in davnace!
  20. Ok so I have updated to 7.5 and got through the various issues, mainly to do with modules and PHP7, but all good now. But, searching for a domain when not logged in, does not work. Just get the spinning icons. If logged in, it works fine. As always any ideas welcome Best Nick

  22. Hello All, Hope you doing good. Can anyone tell me, How to get specific active domains count excel report. Like - Total Active Domains 3155 .COM - 500 .NET - 400 and etc. Hope you got what i mean to get. Thanks Madan
  23. I hope that it's not just me in this jam... otherwise this feature would have no meaning for anyone else the problem that i've found myself with is that when I first started using WHMCS a few years back, i totally failed to migrate over the domains properly. to avoid having my clients receive a ton of emails, i migrated them all to my email account and then reassigned them to the proper clients. if the problem i face isn't already obvious, whelp, about 75% of those domains are paid 1 year in advance of their actual expiration date. in turn, the yearly invoice that's generating actually reads for the next year. so if the invoice generates on 7/10/2017 and the the billing period *should* be for 8/10/2017-8/10/2018, it's actually showing the invoice generated on 7/10/2017, and billing period for 8/10/2018-8/10/2019 (as in, for the next year) i've learned that when i find these domains, to manually create an invoice to cover that year that was skipped. that was working great, for a little while at least... now i'm finding myself having to question whether the invoice that the client is paying (this only really happens with check payments) is the one that i've regenerated or the one that the system has generated. if it's mine, it wouldn't renew the domain for 1 more year. it's only pay for that skipped year and catch up. if it's the system, it would renew the domain for another year and i've contributed back into the vicious circle i created for myself. *** so, in realizing that this problem only applies to maybe 2% of all users, i've since found a solution that might be a practical feature for 75% or more users. if you look at the screenshots below, you'll see the problem that i was explaining above. i honestly cannot remember if the invoice here is one that i made or the system generated. i could probably do some research on the dates, etc, but that'd take A LOT of time for over 100 domains. here's my suggestion: - on the invoice page in the backend, how about display a field that shows the actual expiration date for the domain(s) listed within the invoice? - also on the invoice page backend, a simple checkbox that, checked off by default, can be unchecked to *not* "domain will automatically renew at registrar upon payment" it'd only have to be on invoices automatically generated by the system. since you'd be moving forward from the issue, you wouldn't even have to worry about creating new invoices and cancelling the system generated ones. thoughts? would anyone else benefit from this or am I still finding myself as a 1%er ? ** notice that my current band-aid that i've finally figured out is to remove the registrar assignment, so it doesn't automagically autorenew for another year. ...but, you can see here where creating a temporary fix to one problem is ultimately creating a potential new problem for down the road. setting the domain to autorenew at the registrar is the failsafe to this ** - splaquet
  24. WHMCS: 7.2.3 The DomainWhois JSON API output seems to be missing an opening curly bracket/brace. "result":"success","status":"available","whois":""} Not sure if this is a bug or if I'm doing something wrong? Can someone check if they're seeing the same?
  25. Good Morning Everyone, I am writing to ask if anyone has or could help me make a simple domain report. I have found ok reports for every other aspect of WHMCS but have yet to find a suitable domain report. I need something that, at bare minimum, shows the client name and what they paid for their domain (renewal, transfer, or new registration). Preferably I could include what we paid to our registrar (eNom) and include anything that has to do with domains (even if they purchase it within a package). Anyone have anything like this already made up, or know how I could set one up easily. I asked the WHMCS staff and they just pointed me to the custom reports, but even using this I cant find a way to do what I want, so even if someone could guide me in the right direction that way, that would be fine. Thank you so much!
