Is the unencrypted source code of the whatsapp module a potential security concern, and how does the module handle user data privacy and protection when sending notifications through whatsapp messenger?

That would be great if such self-customization was added to the module. Even now, every specific user can allow themself to manage these codes according to their choices.

The WhatsApp module's unencrypted source code can be a security risk as it could reveal weaknesses to would-be attackers. However, WhatsApp itself handles user data privacy and protection by employing end-to-end encryption for messages, ensuring that only the intended recipients can read the messages, and not even WhatsApp itself can access the content. This robust encryption helps safeguard user data during the notification process.

I do not trust any of these modules either, since the "bridge" through which the information passes is insecure. In addition, the API developer has access to all the information he wants, phone numbers, sensitive data that the client can send since he does not know where the information travels, and much more.
