Colby
I love the system, but very unhappy with the support and part of the site. I made a support ticket trying to get my password recovered in client area and the tech support replies with questions of what I need to include witch was already included. All they need to know is my email and it was in my post and yet they still ask for it. And its taking forever. I am a new reseller and have been testing different systems and all and have decided I like this billing system the most, but once I come back to use it bamm, slap in the face. The lost password recovery system for the client area does not work and it seems nothing is being done about it cause on google search there are many reviews of the same issue. If your going to sell a product and provide services online or off, its nice to make sure everything is working correctly for consumers sake. Damo
The lost password for clients certainly does work. We've been using WHMCS for a couple of years now and on the odd occasion we needed to contact support the replies were timely and helpful. It's the weekend in the UK and WHMCS don't operate 24/7 so you can expect a delay. Try putting the issue itself here in the forums and see if someone is able to help out. You'll be surprised, if you show the right attitude, that people will help here in their own time including weekends.
Alistair
If you are using the free trial, I don't think you get the normal level of support that paying clients get. I've never really had a problem with WHMCS support - sure, there can be delays sometimes, but as stated above, they don't work 24/7/365 - who does? WHMCS CEO Matt Posted January 10, 2011 WHMCS CEO Share Posted January 10, 2011 Hang on, you opened a ticket asking for the password to an account. You provided no proof of ownership, you were asked to provide that , it took *you* 24 hours to reply to that (not us), and then within 9 hours of you submitting that you have been emailed a new password. It's not taken "forever" at all, it's not even taken a long time. And the password reset process does work, please check your spam folders if you didn't receive the email as it was sent ok. sparky
My father was in a contest years ago to win a car. The rules were that you had to hold a piece of string attached to the car between your thumb and forefinger. The contest went for 17 days. Yes he did win the car. JulesR
Off-topic, but for the record, you'd literally die after about 10 days without sleep. You'd go insane before that. For real

He then decided to climb OUT of the basket while in flight and stopped once he saw the ground so far away, that must of woke him up. Sleep deprivation sounds scary! WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted January 11, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted January 11, 2011 Yes I agree. And I believe the original users issue was resolved - turns out they were indeed experiencing problems with their email which is why they hadn't got the automatic password reset and which their host has now resolved for them so they can now receive our emails so all's good. </topic>
