404 error page after successful order placement

Recommended Posts

Dear WHMCS community,

I am getting a 404 page every time an order is placed successfully on my website : hogionline.com

I tried to change the website twice, reinstalled whmcs many times but i'm still getting the error.

It seems like the system is trying to generate the invoice then fails.

The link i am getting is :

https://hogionline.com/whmcs_bridge/viewinvoice.php?id=2&systpl=six

But when I log in the client area,  the invoice is located there.

Any idea on how i can fix the issue!?

Regards,

are you using the correct version of WHMCS Bridge for your WHMCS install? and are it's settings correct ??

so it's creating the invoice, but then directing you to a page that doesn't exist.... have you checked your logs ?

have you tried opening a ticket with Support ?

Dear Brian, thank you for response.

How can I check WHMCS  logs? Where can I find them!?

This is the mail the support team sent me:

Hi,
Thank you for contacting WHMCS Support, I hope your day is going well. This issue seems to be because of your WHMCS Bridge plugin. You can see the invoice and page will load fine if it is set to:
https://hogionline.com/billing/viewinvoice.php?id=9&systpl=six
Please make sure that you have set your System URL to https://hogionline.com/billing/. I'd recommend contacting the developer of the plugin for further assistance.

My WHMCS settings are okay and everything is set as they told me, but it still can't work.

If I change the whmcs link to billing as suggested on the whmcs support ticket, the site isn't integrating my WordPress installation.

But If I remain with whmcs_bridge link the site integrates perfectly my WordPress installation, but I get the 404 page after order placement.

actually, I was thinking more in terms of the server logs as they might have told you which page was generating the 404... but with regards to WHMCS logs, documentation on the activity logs can be found here.

Support's last suggestion is probably not a bad one - it looks to be an issue with the Bridge settings, so contacting the plugin's developers would be the normal option...

https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/whmcs-bridge/

however, they don't seem to be replying to tickets, and the plugin hasn't seemingly been updated since v8.1 was released... and starting to get a lot of 1 star reviews...

if you can't get any help from them, you could try the developers of your WordPress theme, or whoever did your WP integration.
