Question

Dears,

I need to start Webhosting Business and I have some question

Cpanel installed in Cloud Digitalocean

1- I read that the best to install your website (Pilot) in different Server with a different IP address

2- is it good to install the WHMCS in Subdomain in different server with a different IP address

3- I will rent a dedicated server and I will split it to multiple VPS and start selling VPS and shared Hosting did it need to have another dedicated server in another location for customer backup

4- for the dedicated server how to make each VPS have a special IP address or is it normal all of them to have same the dedicated server IP

thanks

1. Your website and WHMCS can run on the same IP. cPanel should handle that for you.

2. You can install it on a subdomain.

3. That's your choice. Make sure whatever VPS provisioning tool (like SolusVM and Virtualizor) you use supports backups.

4. Unless you configure NAT, VPS will need their own public IP.

      Hi Guys,
I want to offer free web hosting for my potential clients, However when they purchase it I would like them to type in their site name which would then be a subdomain of my site. For example (elliesbuisness.example.com). How would I automatically set this up so it creates it as a subdomain on go daddy or enom, then uses it on whmcs with the free hosting plan.
      Many Thanks,
      Conor

      We recently integrated MailChimp.
We exported an imported our clients to the audience list which went fine.  Issues:
      1. Can I export a list of users who have previously opted out - but only through WHMCS? Cause right now, even people who have previoilsly opted out via WHMCS, show as "subscribed" in mailchimp.
      2. Also - POST integration with MC I am not seeing NEW users opt in / opt out changes reflected in MailChimp. Is there a delay in that communication?
New users added to WHMCS show this on MC: This person is only eligible for transactional emails.

We have recently launched a new version of our Linode Server Management module. This new V2.0.1 version now supports stack scripts in Linode. Download the latest version from the WGS Client Area.
