Fatal error in /includes/classes/WHMCS/Terminus.php on line 0

Hi, we're currently running v5.3.14 and seeing this fatal error for a 'gocardless' service. The full error:

 

Fatal error: Array ( [error] => Array ( [0] => Couldn't find PreAuthorization with 'id'=xxxxxxxxxxxxxx [WHERE "limits"."type" IN ('PreAuthorization')] ) ) in xxxxx/includes/classes/WHMCS/Terminus.php on line 0

 

The file in question is encoded so im not sure how to troubleshoot it.

 

Any ideas?

didn't gocardless stop supporting their WHMCS module a couple of years ago?

Honestly i have no idea. All i know is we're seeing this error on attempt capture and i dont know how to troubleshoot it

i'm not sure what to suggest that would get this working again...

 

WHMCS no longer support the module...

As of v5.3 this module has been discontinued and is no longer supported by WHMCS. This page remains in place for archive purposes and will not receive any further updates.

I doubt whether GoCardless' support will be of any help - though no harm in asking them... perhaps their API no longer supports the code used in the module.

 

there was a new GoCardless addon posted a couple of days ago, but whether it's compatible with v5 I don't know, nor do I know if/how/whether it would handle your existing clients payments.

frankly, I suspect that you are going to have to consider moving away from using GoCardless.

Regardless of whether its happening with gocardless, the fatal error occurs in a whmcs file... Where does WHMCS's onus end?

that's one for WHMCS to answer themselves.

 

...but if the error is being caused by a module that WHMCS are no longer supporting, what do you expect them to do? e.g if you don't try to use the GC module, there isn't an error.

 

in any event, if you want WHMCS support to take a look at your installation, you'll need to open a ticket with them directly - it's entirely possible that i'm wrong and they may do something to fix it, but I sincerely doubt that can or will do so... so don't get your hopes raised!

Development of the module was discontinued by Gocardless and so as of September 2013 is no longer distributed, maintained or supported by us.

 

As brian mentioned there may be third-parties continuing to develop the module, but regrettably I am not personally familiar with any.
