Valid domain is changing automatically !

Hi

I just installed WHMCS on a subdomain (cp.mydomain.com)

Now if I open mydomain.com/cp the valid domain in my license will be changed to mydomain.com and the cp.mydomain.com shows an Invalid License error.

How do I prevent this issue from happening? Is it a bug or something? Am I doing something wrong?

 

I know that the first domain that I open after reissuing the license would be set as the valid domain and I'm sure I opened the right domain after reissue.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Decide which one you want it on, setup your .htaccess to limit access / redirect accordingly

 

If you're putting it on cp.(domain) ideally you'd set that up as a separate hosting account not a subdomain of the current one.

My boss wants me to install WHMCS on the same hosting account.

It seems redirecting is the only option in my case
