  1. Hello, I'm wanting to get everyone's thought on this. With the Licensing Addon, expired licenses just sit in the database. Is there any way that could be feasible to have this auto prune and remove from the database after they expire? I did create a topic on the requests page, but would love to know your thoughts! https://requests.whmcs.com/topic/auto-prune-expired-license-keys-in-licensing-addon Thanks!
  2. Hi Everyone, we build WordPress sites for clients and I know we can't license WordPress or any templates we use. We do a lot of work to build these sites and want to be able to license these sites until they have been paid for. The problem is that once the site is live, clients can just copy the site put it with another host and we're out of pocket. We're happy to buy the WHMCS Licensing addon but PHP is not our thing so we wanted to see is a developer could create something for use where the site cannot be used unless the license has been paid, I'm not sure whether this would be a plugin, or encrypted php file etc but we would be keen to hear from any developers who would be interested in coding a solution, thanks.
  3. So I'm working with the licensing addon, and attempting to figure out the hook part.. add_hook('LicensingAddonVerify', 1, function($vars) { return [ 'Hash' => 'Hash Here', ]; } ); The hash actually shows in the license how it should, but I'm trying to do it since I make several softwares, and not only one, so what I'm trying to do is something like if ($productid == "prodID number") { add_hook('LicensingAddonVerify', 1, function($vars) { return [ 'Hash' => 'Hash Here', ]; } ); } else -- run get different product It doesn't retrieve the product id at all.. What am I missing here? The hash is basically there to tell the system if a new version has been released. Thanks
  4. Hey everyone! Here is another nice module/program from Anveto. This is a C# program which will allow you to test your WHMCS Licensing Addon and also serve as a base project when making a C# application that will use the WHMCS Licensing Addon functionality. You will get both a .exe file to run the windows forms application and also the entire Visual Studio 2012 project with source code that you can use for any project. See the video for a simple overview of how this program works. You can purchase this program here: https://anveto.com/members/cart.php?a=add&pid=35 Purchase includes unlimited updates. Source code is free to use for an unlimited amount of projects, no attribution is necessary.
  5. About 3 years ago I wrote a guide on how to setup and configure the WHMCS Licensing Addon. It got a lot of attention and I received a lot of feedback. Even today it is one of the most visited pages on my blog. However the post I wrote back then is a bit outdated and therefore I have decided to write a new and more accurate guide along with a video on how to configure this addon. You can find my blog post here: http://markustenghamn.com/how-to-configure-and-setup-whmcs-licensing-addon-review-how-to The video to go along with my guide is here: I hope you guys find it useful and an improvement to my previous guides.
  6. I found 2 scripts here that do this but both are dead -- has anyone else tinkered around with one that works with the licensing addon ?
  7. Hello, I am planning to purchase a WHMCS License for selling my products but I am confused with the addons and License type to purchase. i hope you will help me sort out this problem after i explain you my scenario. I sell different services through different domains offering few similar and dissimilar services in each domain. i use 5 different domains. to sell the and now i want to mange using WHMCS. So my question here is do you offer a license such that i keep my WHMCS in a sixth domain and use it to manage the 5 different domains. since my selling domains are different i need to customize them differently. So what options will be available to me and addons required for that. I look forward to hear from you sooner. one more thing I want my clients to purchase the service from the specific site containing the service.
