favicon won't load?

hello i decided to put a favicon on whmcs client area but it's not loading?

favicon is inside the six img folder template

and i have this on header

 

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="templates/($template)/img/favicon.ico" >

 

is this wrong somehow?

the favicon.ico should be in your root folder.

/public_html/favicon.ico

 

There is no need to add any additional code, just upload your ico file and it should load fine!
