  1. We have two credit card processors. One is only for existing customers and one is for new sign ups. I was wondering if we could disable a processor just in the public checkout, but still have it for existing customers that have a product. Basically disable a processor in the main checkout, then have it when adding products after the customer has a product.
  2. Hello. We've recently moved to Stripe and it's working very well for existing recurring card payments. However existing store credit cards don't appear on the checkout page. Do you know if it's possible to add them or migrate them all over to Stripe? Tim

  7. When I tried to do a test checkout I realized that I cant continue. I get an error about invalid tax percentage, but I don't even have tax setup. I am using WHMCS 7.4.2 I get the error no matter what payment gateway, and I have tried a fresh install of the checkout.tpl file and a bunch of other files that is included on multiple pages such as common and the sidebars. When I enable error reporting, I get the following stack trace: WHMCS\Exception\Billing\BillingException: Invalid tax percentage: in /home/myuser/public_html/vendor/whmcs/whmcs-foundation/lib/Billing/Tax.php:0 Stack trace: #0 /home/myuser/public_html/vendor/whmcs/whmcs-foundation/lib/Billing/Tax.php(0): WHMCS\Billing\Tax->validateTaxPercentage(NULL) #1 /home/myuser/public_html/includes/invoicefunctions.php(0): WHMCS\Billing\Tax->setLevel1Percentage(NULL) #2 /home/myuser/public_html/includes/processinvoices.php(0): updateInvoiceTotal(0) #3 /home/myuser/public_html/includes/processinvoices.php(0): createInvoicesProcess(false, true, '') #4 /home/myuser/public_html/includes/orderfunctions.php(0): createInvoices(1, true, '', Array) #5 /home/myuser/public_html/cart.php(0): calcCartTotals(true) #6 {main}

  9. I found an older post regarding this but I wanted to post a working hook that adds recaptcha to the checkout page. I think this a great thing especially if you're being bombarded with fake accounts and orders. /includes/hooks/checkout-recaptcha.php: <?php if (!defined("WHMCS")) die("This file cannot be accessed directly"); function limitOrders($vars) { $url = 'https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api/siteverify'; $privatekey = "YOUR_RECAPTCHA_SECRET_KEY_HERE"; $response = file_get_contents($url . "?secret=" . $privatekey . "&response=" . $_POST['g-recaptcha-response'] . "&remoteip=" . $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']); $data = json_decode($response); if (isset($data->success) AND $data->success == true) { // everything is ok! } else { $pm = $vars['paymentmethod']; if ($pm == "paypalpaymentspro") { global $errormessage; $errormessage.= "<li> Please, confirm that you are not a robot! <br/></li>"; } //if CC } } //function add_hook("ShoppingCartValidateCheckout", 1, "limitOrders"); Change YOUR_RECAPTCHA_SECRET_KEY_HERE to your the recaptcha private/secret key Google gives you. I'm using for my credit card checkout which is "paypalpaymentspro" but you can use it for any payment method. I think you really only need if you accept credits though. To get your payment method view source on the checkout page and search for "paymentmethod" your payment method will be near this. In your checkout.tpl file you also need to add somewhere under the "Complete Payment" button: <div class="g-recaptcha" data-sitekey="YOUR_RECAPTCHA_PUBLIC_KEY_HERE"></div> Replace YOUR_RECAPTCHA_PUBLIC_KEY_HERE with your public recaptcha key provided by Google. This is tested working on WHMCS v7.5.1.
  10. Anyone else finds the "Already Registered?" button behavior on the checkout page flawed? Clicking it triggers JS that simply shows the login username/password boxes without actually letting the user login. So the login is performed at the same time as order submission. The idea is that less clicking and not leaving the checkout page is a good thing. Except that: 1. Without actually logging in, the user has to enter the credit card manually instead of using the one on file. This defeats one of the most important benefits of being "registered". 2. If the user enters a credit that is different from the one he has on file, his card on file gets updated without even his knowledge, as no where on the order page suggests that. 3. If the user made a typo on the password, he does not seem to even get a password incorrect error message, possibly causing confusion Shouldn't the better approach be what every other online store does: clicking "Already Registered" button actually leads user to login page, then redirects back to the checkout page upon successful login? Anyone has any idea how to achieve this (the button it self can be edited ini the template I assume, but what about the redirect part?) Thanks.

  12. Hi, I created a custom field, that I only want to display when a payment method is selected. That works fine with the following code. But I set the input fields a required in the admin panel. But it should only be required when the payment method is selected. How can I modify this, so that it only become required when selected? HTML: <div id="ccinputform" class="iban-number" {if $selectedgatewaytype neq "banktransfer"} style="display:none;"{/if}> {foreach key=num item=customfield from=$customfields} <div class="row"> <div class="col-md-12"> <div class="form-group form-group-xl"> <label class="control-label" for="customfield{$customfield.id}">{$customfield.name}</label> {$customfield.input|replace:'>' : 'placeholder="IBAN nummer" class="form-control" >'} <span id="helpBlock" class="help-block"></span> </div> </div> </div> {/foreach} </div>
  13. What seems to be happening is that Firefox is seeing the hidden "Existing Customer Login" fields on the checkout page as a required field even if you are a new customer and have not clicked "Already Registered". Therefore, the page won't even attempt to process, just the info bubble ""Please enter an email address". Any help is greatly appreciated. It looks after all the hype when Google ended Google Checkout to set up Google Wallet for digital goods has been a big failure as Google are now retiring Google Wallet for digital goods as of March 2, 2015. more information here https://support.google.com/wallet/business/answer/6107573?hl=en-GB
  15. With the "web2.0cart" template I'm looking for a direct link for individual products that goes directly to the checkout page. I want to remove the user having to select the "checkout" button. http://docs.whmcs.com/Linking_to_WHMCS includes links to the product and the order template but what about directly to the checkout page??? cart/?a=add&pid=114&what=checkout
  16. I only offer one hosting package with no configurable options and free domain registrations. I would like to know how I can setup a form that submits the domain to the cart and automatically chooses the pid (i know this part) and also includes to set the domain (if available obviously) and set the register years to 1 then skip straight to checkout. How might I do this?
  17. I am sending pdf attachments; I would ideally like the link to log them in (if necessary? can an invoice be paid by a guest?) and bring them straight to the checkout page for said invoice. How can I go about doing this?
  18. Hi there. Is it possible to show the addons selection from the configure page on the viewcart page? I'd like to use this as last minute upsells/addons, prechecked and uncheckable - adjusting total. I'm using whmcs 4.4.2 with web20cart. Both product addons and configurable options are on the cart.php?a=confproduct page ... unfortunately. I would really like to show them on cart.php?a=view - even as static html, but function if checked/unchecked. Like: [ ] Yes, I'd also like XYZ Ebook Product added to my order for 9.95 [ ] Yes, Please add ZXY Service to my order for 4.95 COMPLETE ORDER / CHECKOUT I would really appreciate any suggestions/ideas on how to pull this off. Thank you
