  1. Hello I want my Client Area to be Georgian. I went to Set Up >> General Settings >> Localisation and chose Georgian as Default Language. When I go to client area it works fine, but if I go to Client Profile >> Summary and click 'Login as Client' in 'Client Information' box, it still redirects me to English version of Client Area. I've done a little research on the web before asking here and some said it isn't saved in database and that's why it doesn't work, I checked tblconfiguration table and it says that language is Georgian, am I looking for it in a wrong table ? How can I fix this ?
  2. I've just noticed there are two VAT boxes in the client area (see image) I did have the EU VAT module installed, but after removing, they are both still showing. The client involved is marked as tax exempt. If I try to update any of the details on the my details page an error message is displayed: The following errors occurred: VAT is required VAT is required Any ideas? Thanks.
  3. Hi, The Announcements panel on the client area homepage shows the last 3 announcements - is there anyway (preferably, without completely rewriting the clientareahome.tpl) to increase this? Thanks.
  4. Hello, I have put the hook with the code below in the directory /includes/hooks/: ------------------------------------------------------------------ <?php use WHMCS\View\Menu\Item as MenuItem; add_hook('ClientAreaPrimaryNavbar', 1, function (MenuItem $primaryNavbar) { $urlidr = $vars['clientsdetails']['customfields15']; if (!is_null($primaryNavbar->getChild('Services'))&&!is_null($urlidr)) { $primaryNavbar->getChild('Services') ->addChild('Emergency Contacts', array( 'label' => Lang::trans('buyResellerWebsite'), 'uri' => $systemurl.'cart.php?a=add&pid='.$urlidr, 'order' => '100', )); } }); ------------------------------------------------------------------ The issue is that the variable $urlidr = $vars['clientsdetails']['customfields15'] remains empty, even though listed among those in the page with {debug} in the file clientareahome.tpl. Anyone can help me, please? Thanks.

  11. I have a couple of old clunky pieces of code, using {php} inside the templates, that allow me to display announcements and network issues in the client area. Can someone help me convert these to Action Hooks, so I don't need to enable PHP in the templates? This will make for less clunky code and allow more display flexibility. Here's one that displays recent announcements (1 week): <!-- announcements --> {php} $query = "SELECT * from tblannouncements WHERE published != '0' AND DATE_SUB(CURDATE(),INTERVAL 1 WEEK) <= date ORDER BY date DESC"; $result=mysql_query($query); $num_rows = mysql_num_rows($result); if ($num_rows == 0 ) { echo "<!-- No recent announcements -->"; } else { echo "<div class='alert alert-info'> <a href='#' class='close' data-dismiss='alert' aria-label='close'>×</a> <h4>Recent news</h4>"; } $num=0; while($data = mysql_fetch_array($result) and $num<2 ) { $num = $num +1; $id = $data["id"]; $date = $data["date"]; $title = $data["title"]; $announcement = $data["announcement"]; $date = fromMySQLDate($date); echo("<h4> <span style='font-size:0.9em;font-weight: normal'> $date -</span> "); echo("$title </h4>"); echo("$announcement"); echo("</div>"); } {/php} <!-- /announcements --> And here's one that displays network issues, color-coded by severity, with a link for more details. <!-- network issues --> {php} $query = "SELECT * from tblnetworkissues WHERE status != 'Resolved'"; $result=mysql_query($query); $num_rows = mysql_num_rows($result); if ($num_rows == 0 ) { echo "<!-- No recent issues -->"; } else { $num=0; while($data = mysql_fetch_array($result) and $num<2 ) { $num = $num +1; $id = $data["id"]; $date = $data["lastupdate"]; $title = $data["title"]; $announcement = $data["description"]; $priority = $data["priority"]; $date = fromMySQLDate($date, true); if ($priority == 'Critical') { $color = "danger" ; } elseif ($priority == 'Low') { $color = "success" ; } elseif ($priority == 'High') { $color = "warning" ; } else { $color = "info" ; } echo "<div class='alert alert-$color'> <a href='#' class='close' data-dismiss='alert' aria-label='close'>×</a> <h4>Network Status</h4>"; echo("<h4> <span style='font-size:0.9em;font-weight: normal'> $date -</span> "); echo("$title </h4>"); //echo("$announcement"); echo("<a href='serverstatus.php'>More info</a>"); echo("</div>"); } } {/php} <!-- /network issues -->
  12. The client area product details page changes when single sign-on is enabled, and it looks like this: http://docs.whmcs.com/CPanel_Single_Sign-On#Customising_Single_Sign-On_Shortcuts Rather than doing all the customizing work, I'd prefer to keep using the old look and forget about the integration. Is there an option for this, besides hacking the code for clientareaproductdetails.tpl?

  14. Hi, I want to hide some default columns on the clientarea page. I want to hide the Domains Expiring block, the Register New Domain block and the Recent News block. How can I achieve that? The default code looks like this: {foreach from=$addons_html item=addon_html} <div> {$addon_html} </div> {/foreach} <div class="client-home-panels"> <div class="row"> <div class="col-sm-6"> {function name=outputHomePanels} <div menuItemName="{$item->getName()}" class="panel panel-default panel-accent-{$item->getExtra('color')}{if $item->getClass()} {$item->getClass()}{/if}"{if $item->getAttribute('id')} id="{$item->getAttribute('id')}"{/if}> <div class="panel-heading"> <h3 class="panel-title"> {if $item->getExtra('btn-link') && $item->getExtra('btn-text')} <div class="pull-right"> <a href="{$item->getExtra('btn-link')}" class="btn btn-default bg-color-{$item->getExtra('color')} btn-xs"> {if $item->getExtra('btn-icon')}<i class="fa {$item->getExtra('btn-icon')}"></i>{/if} {$item->getExtra('btn-text')} </a> </div> {/if} {if $item->hasIcon()}<i class="{$item->getIcon()}"></i> {/if} {$item->getLabel()} {if $item->hasBadge()} <span class="badge">{$item->getBadge()}</span>{/if} </h3> </div> {if $item->hasBodyHtml()} <div class="panel-body"> {$item->getBodyHtml()} </div> {/if} {if $item->hasChildren()} <div class="list-group{if $item->getChildrenAttribute('class')} {$item->getChildrenAttribute('class')}{/if}"> {foreach $item->getChildren() as $childItem} {if $childItem->getUri()} <a menuItemName="{$childItem->getName()}" href="{$childItem->getUri()}" class="list-group-item{if $childItem->getClass()} {$childItem->getClass()}{/if}{if $childItem->isCurrent()} active{/if}"{if $childItem->getAttribute('dataToggleTab')} data-toggle="tab"{/if}{if $childItem->getAttribute('target')} target="{$childItem->getAttribute('target')}"{/if} id="{$childItem->getId()}"> {if $childItem->hasIcon()}<i class="{$childItem->getIcon()}"></i> {/if} {$childItem->getLabel()} {if $childItem->hasBadge()} <span class="badge">{$childItem->getBadge()}</span>{/if} </a> {else} <div menuItemName="{$childItem->getName()}" class="list-group-item{if $childItem->getClass()} {$childItem->getClass()}{/if}" id="{$childItem->getId()}"> {if $childItem->hasIcon()}<i class="{$childItem->getIcon()}"></i> {/if} {$childItem->getLabel()} {if $childItem->hasBadge()} <span class="badge">{$childItem->getBadge()}</span>{/if} </div> {/if} {/foreach} </div> {/if} <div class="panel-footer"> {if $item->hasFooterHtml()} {$item->getFooterHtml()} {/if} </div> </div> {/function} {foreach $panels as $item} {if $item@iteration is odd} {outputHomePanels} {/if} {/foreach} </div> <div class="col-sm-6"> {foreach $panels as $item} {if $item@iteration is even} {outputHomePanels} {/if} {/foreach} </div> </div> </div>
  15. The WHMCS Affiliate documentation says: When I log in as a client, and go to their Client Area, there is NOTHING about the Affiliate system. If I manually activate them from the admin side, THEN there is an Affiliate Program section on their Client area. How can I set it up so that clients can "activate their affiliate account" like the documentation states? We are using the "six" theme, if that matters. Thanks! - Scott
  16. Hi all, recently i have added set of custom fields to a support group. All the the additional fields work just fine and located on the side bar in the support ticket which is nicely placed. My questions is, what is the recommended and safest way to modify the title of the "Custom Fields" itself to something else (dynamically or fix)? Thank you gang.
  17. Quick question. We are still testdriving our WHMCS installation, so we are still pretty new to it, BUT... Bit, by bit, we understand it more and more. Anyways, back on topic, I registered a few domains (10) along with several services and/or products (5). But when I login to the Client Area and check 'Home' it will display only 2 Services and 3 Domains, instead of 10 and 5. Is there a way to fix this? If click on 'Services' panel (with amount 2) it will show all 5 services / products. Same goes for the 'Domains' panel (with amount 3). When I click it, it will show all 10 domains. Weird? Probably I made a mistake somewhere? I will try to register a new domainname and add an extra service. I will also test it a bit more with {debug}. Thanks in advance. Regards
  18. I am using WHMCS v6.0.2 There appears to be no way a client can request cancellation of an "Addon" from the Client Area... Example - a client has 1 "product" (their hosting account) - and 2 "Addons" (Web Promotion Service + Twitter Promotion Service) The client wants to cancel the 2 addons from next month but there is NO way they can do this from within their Client Area - i.e. the only thing they can cancel from Client Area is the main product - the hosting account - which is not what they want to do... They can, after digging about, view their addons - but there is no "cancel" option This appears to be a glaring omission for WHMCS Will this be addressed if future versions?
  19. I had a question from an afilliate about why the amount their account is in credit wasn't visible in the client area. It may be there somewhere but I couldn't find it anywhere. Here's a simple and easy method to display it in /templates/yourtemplate/clientareahome.tpl find <form role="form" method="post" action="{$systemNonSSLURL}knowledgebase.php?action=search"> <div class="row"> <div class="col-md-12 home-kb-search"> <input type="text" name="search" class="form-control input-lg" placeholder="{$LANG.clientHomeSearchKb}" /> <i class="fa fa-search"></i> </div> </div> </form> Immediately before it add the line {if $clientsstats.incredit == true}<div id='creditbalance'>Your account is currently ${$clientsdetails.credit} in credit. This will be applied to future invoices.</div>{/if} Too easy! You may want to display it somewhere else, just move the code around to suit. In /templates/yourtemplate/css/custom.css I have styled it with #creditbalance{ /* clientareahome.tpl */ margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; }
  20. I have been looking into consolidation several sections of WHMCS into a single page so that my customers don't have to click through so many pages in order to do simple things like access cPanel for their hosting services, or to view all domains on their account. The problem I found is that one cannot simply merge the tpl files for these sections as the smarty variables are not defined for those pages --- Example: If you combine `clientareahome.tpl` with `clientareadomains.tpl`, you will not get a list of the domains on the account on the `clientareahome.tpl` page. Instead, you will get errors. I dug a bit deeper, and I could not find anywhere to force the variables to load the appropriate information for these pages --- most likely because the files that control the flow of this data seem to be all IonCube encoded. I am seeking assistance with this as I (and my customers), have found WHMCS client area to be unnecessarily excessive on the amount of clicking necessary in order to reach common information. This makes the 2 clicks from my home page seem horrendous when you count the 4 clicks to get to cPanel for a particular hosting package (Login, View, View Details, Login to cPanel). I am just using the cPanel button as an example of distance from user entry to action. This applies to other things such as Domains, SSL control, Profile editing, and so on, which could be consolidated more efficiently. I have sought out third party assistance from 'theme integrators', however they only migrate the header/footer html, and do nothing with the actual content itself. I have restyled everything using Bootstrap3, and modern components (if I could hack the tables, I would use a jQuery sortable table rather than the one that requires a page reload on every sort change -- which supports filtering as well). Any assistance in this would be fantastic -- or if the only way is to have the source for the 'clientarea.php' file, instructions on how one may obtain a source license would be great.... even if it is just the client area sources. I can put up with the nuances in the administration area, so I am really just concerned about UX/UI for the user area.
  21. Hi Everyone, I'm continuing my epic quest to get all the client area account details tabs on one page. I need to retrieve the list of security questions via php so i can assign them to the correct smarty variable from clientareadetails.tpl Something like this would go in the tpl file: {php} $securityquestions = $whatever_php_is_needed_to_get_the_questions; $this->assign('securityquestions', $securityquestions; {/php} As WHMCS is not open source I can't find out how to retrieve things via php, I assume there is some sort of get function for retrieving things, or would it involve writing my own database query? So really I have two questions: 1. How do I retrieve the security questions from the database and 2. How do I go about finding out how to add to WHMCS using php (I know it's possible because people write 3rd party plugins!) Thanks in advance
  22. Newbie here so please be kind! Is there anyway of directing a client directly to their product details page i.e. to http://mydomain.com/clientarea.php?action=productdetails after logging in? If I redirct to http://mydomain/clientarea.php?action=productdetails, I get the error 'Unauthorized Access Attempt' despite successful login. Presumbaly there is an easy way around? Any help very much appreciated! SK
  23. I know how to create a new page in the client area of WHMCS that requires the user to log in to view, I have that part figured out. I want to add a custom link to this page from the product management menu. When a user goes to the "My Products & Services" page there is a drop-down menu next to each product that says "View Details", I want to add a link to that menu. Right now there is only one option in that menu, called "Upgrade/Downgrade" which points to /https://MYDOMAIN.com/upgrade.php?type=package&id=50#tab3 I would like to add a link item with a URL like this: /https://MYDOMAIN.com/MyCustomPage.php?type=package&id=50 Is this possible?
