earthgirlllc
I'm still testing this. I am seeing that the domainsync.php just doesn't update domains that are marked as expired, even if Enom shows the domain as active. - - - Updated - - - Also...when I run domainsync.php manually, it doesn't include all domains. Each time I run it, there's a different list generated. (this may be a new ticket?)
Damo
We've seen the expired status stay for enom domains that were renewed after an expiry. We manually update those but it would be nice if the script did it. The script only syncs 50 domains at a time so that's why you see a different list. That's why it's recommended to run the script a few times a day. We comfortably run it every 4 hours and that seems to keep our clients current. earthgirlllc
I'd have to run this 40x per day to update all domains - a setting for that would be great. I had several domains marked expired when they weren't, then they weren't updated subsequently. I'm not sure how that happened. Maybe that's an issue in itself. WHMCS Nate
Hello, As is noted in our documentation here: http://docs.whmcs.com/Domains_Tab#Domain_Sync_Enabled The domainsync cron looks to sync two categories: 1) Pending Transfer domains that might have become active when the transfer went through. 2) Active domains to update their expiration date since dates are so important. The domainsync.php cron is not intended to check domains that have been marked expired. If you would like to see additional things added the feature request system is the best place to indicate this. A quick search found that both of the suggestions you mentioned here are in there already: https://requests.whmcs.com/topic/configurable-domain-sync-limit https://requests.whmcs.com/topic/domain-audit-tool Have a great day, Nate C
