onliner
Hello people, Not sure if I'm asking something already asked. But I'm currios to know what do you guys think. I know that Default is done on Boostrap and the other 2 are HTML based, but maybe I missing the big picture. Please give me your inputs. Cheers.
Infopro
I think another way to ask your question might be: "Which Default Templates do you copy and then make use of?" If you want to customise anything in the WHMCS templates, the first step we always recommend is to create your own template folder. You should never edit the default templates directly. I only add that here as the issue of customizing default templates (and then the site breaking in an update) comes up often. Similar, but different poll: Preferred Default Order Form Template? Please feel free to vote on both.

onliner
Thanks for your inputs. I missed to put 'non of the above ' as an option. But wondering how that is possible, I mean if you customize WHMCS built in template, you must use one a s base!? Or?

zomex
Out of the selection I'm a big fan of portal. It's really clean and has the bare minimum features so it's a great template to use a base for integration. I used it as a base for my own integration but did have to re-do some of the structure so it was more suitable to be made responsive. aegisdesign
I use the Bootstrap based default theme mixed in with the older Portal theme and my own custom bits. Most of the files other than the header/footer work just fine copied into Portal so you get much nicer Bootstrap style forms, the Portal style client area and not the awful default theme client area and navbar. I am however about to entirely switch to a custom theme based on the Bootstrap 3 based code that Shaun Reitan is maintaining at https://github.com/ShaunR/template-bootstrap & https://github.com/ShaunR/orderform-bootstrap and would encourage others to do so. For that matter it would be great if WHMCS Ltd also switched to use ShaunR's work since there Bootstrap Default is years out of date.

DennisHermannsen
Thanks for your inputs. I missed to put 'non of the above ' as an option. But wondering how that is possible, I mean if you customize WHMCS built in template, you must use one a s base!? Or? Not necessarily. We started doing our template from scratch, but that took a very long time, so we ended up doing most of the clientarea based on the default template.
