How do I edit the contact us form subject?

So our contact us form sends us an email with "Contact Form: {subject}" currently.

How do I edit the contact us form subject to reflect where it is coming form or my co name or something less generic / spammy????

I think it's hard-coded into contact.php, so modification will not be possible.

 

perhaps an option might be to modify contact.tpl to post to another form script on your site - that might give you a little more flexibility when it comes to the settings you want to change...

Not a truly viable solution, but I suppose if it starts to annoy me more one that can be used.

 

To any WHMCS staff: Suggestion, make this editable either in the general settings, or template.

perhaps another option might be to use the support tickets system - http://docs.whmcs.com/Support_Tickets

 

you'd have to switch the link from contact.php to submitticket.php in your menu, but it might give you a *little* more flexibility when it comes to using company name etc in the from field.
