Late fees on domain renewals (disable?)

Is it somehow possible to set WHMCS not to charge late fees on domain renewal invoices? My setup charges late fees 7 days after the due date, but for domain renewals its a bit difficult as the client has to invoice their clients for the domain renewals which sometimes means the client pays way past the due date and then they are upset because of the late fees.

 

If this is not possible, has anybody got a recomendation how to handle this better?

you could disable late fees for these clients, but of course that would apply to all invoices to them, not just domain renewals.

 

there is also the option of perhaps invoicing a week earlier than you are currently doing - that would give your clients more time to obtain payment.

 

also, do you have your domain reminder settings activated ? this should send upcoming renewal emails long before the client would ever receive an invoice from you - so with good planning on their part, they should be able to obtain payment from their clients by the time they get the invoice from you.
