  1. Ok... On your recommendation, I have posted this in the Bug Report forum and have posted more details in that thread. See - Removed - Threads Merged -
  2. I am uncertain how to (or if I can) move a thread from one forum to another so I am posting here what was originally posted at http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?104546-Problem-with-systemurl&goto=newpost I am running 6.01 Regardless if I access my site using http:// or https:// the value of {$systemurl} always is http:// This poses a problem with using <base href="{$systemurl}"> The proper usage is supposed to be... {if $systemurl}<base href="{$systemurl}" />{/if} however it ALWAYS outputs http://... even when it should output https://... The workaround is... {if $systemsslurl} <base href="{$systemsslurl}" /> {elseif $systemNonSSLURL} <base href="{$systemNonSSLURL}" /> {/if} My support for this being a bug is... When accessing the site via https://... the following values are output... {$systemsslurl} outputs https://... (Correct) {$systemurl} outputs http://... (*** NOT Correct ***) {$systemNonSSLURL} is non existent (Correct) When accessing the site via http://... the following values are output... {$systemsslurl} outputs is non existent (Correct) {$systemurl} outputs http://... (Correct) {$systemNonSSLURL} outputs http://... (Correct) Example url with issue... https://gjinternetsolutions.com/home/domainchecker.php?systpl=five I realize the template used in the URL I supplied is a version 5 template; however, the issue is still present when using a version 6 template.
  3. Yes but {$systemurl} is supposed to be an intelligent variable and return the correct value (SSL or Non-SSL) depending on config and access method
  4. I am running 6.01 Regardless if I access my site using http:// or https:// the value of {$systemurl} always is http:// This poses a problem with using <base href="{$systemurl}"> Is this a bug in this version of WHMCS?
  5. Yes... The redemption fee is added when the domain expires so if you have WHMCS configured to appropriately expire domains, the redemption fee will be added at the correct time. With the current version... No It simply adds the redemption fee line to the current invoice. The renewal fee already on the invoice is left unchanged and remains on the invoice. Functionality is always best as a core function as opposed to an addon plugin. This module can add the much needed functionality until such a time as WHMCS integrates the functionality into the core program. At that time, this module can simply be disabled by anyone using it.
  6. Currently as an Enom reseller, I am charged a percentage by Enom when I add funds to my Enom account using PayPal. Then when I sell a domain registration through WHMCS and use PayPal as the gateway, I am charged fees again by PayPal. I am beginning to question whether it is best to sell domain registrations through WHMCS or not. Does everyone have this double fee problem or do you most of you resellers refill your Enom accounts using offline methods to avoid the fees?
  7. Hey easyhosting... As you know, it uses the WHMCS licensing module. It is authored by them and used by MANY around the world. The problem with the licensing grabbing the wrong IP had nothing to do with the module but rather how you accessed it initially when the license issuing took place. As soon as you identified the problem, we gladly reissued your license and once you accessed it from the correct domain, it worked without a hitch. Your license is now issued to your domain.
  8. UPDATE... It turns out there was nothing wrong with the module... Despite Host Gator repeatedly saying it wasn't, it turned out to be a Mod_Security rule blocking connections. The module should work fine now!!! To save you scrolling back up, here are the details... I have created a module that will automatically add a redemption fee to expired domains. You can get the module at http://GJinternetSolutions.com/home/cart.php?gid=5

  10. I have created a module that will automatically add a redemption fee to expired domains. You can get the module at http://GJinternetSolutions.com/home/cart.php?gid=5 The module is still in BETA stage. Thre are no known issues with the redemption fee portion of the code; however, we are currently experiencing an issue with the WHMCS licensing portion of the code. We are baffled with the problem because it works on our local machine but not when the module is loaded on a remote server. That portion of the code is just a copy of what was provided by WHMCS. If anyone has experience with the WHMCS license code, we'll be happy to give you a copy of the code for this module to see if you can help pinpoint our issue. If you are interested, simply get yourself a free copy of the module at the link above and then let us know you are interested in helping pinpoint the problem by submitting a ticket at http://gjinternetsolutions.com/home/supporttickets.php
  11. Ok, so it seems "easyhosting" has been giving you a play by play of the license issue we are experiencing. Just to clarify a few things... 1) The BETA version is free... In fact we have recently removed the need for a promo code entirely. 2) The mySQL issue mentioned earlier in the thread was simply the fact that "easyhosting" had an issue on his server with the port. He has since fixed that on his server and has no issues with that part now. The module checks our server once a week to see if a newer version is available and displays a message to you if there is.... That is why remote mySQL is required. 3) We are having an issue with the WHMCS licensing which is causing the module to not work. We are totally baffled as it works locally on our server but not when the module is put on a remote server. The license portion of the code is simply what WHMCS has provided. Without a WHMCS installation on a remote server it is difficult for us to test. If anyone has the BETA version of this module and has coding experience with the WHMCS license module and wants to look at the code, we'll be happy to give you a copy so you can see if you can pinpoint our problem. If you are interested, simply let us know by submitting a ticket at... http://gjinternetsolutions.com/home/supporttickets.php Thank you !
  12. Thank you for your patience... This is a BETA version because it still needs to be proven as stable. Version 1.0 worked locally or our machine; however, some mySQL and license issues were found when accessing remotely. Please upgrade to Version 1.1 as 1.0 is not functional. To upgrade simply go to: http://GJinternetSolutions.com and login to your account. Find the module in your list of products and then choose the upgrade option from the menu. If you have not already downloaded the first version, you will not be able to use this upgrade method; so simply follow the link in the initial post but PLEASE USE THE UPGRADE METHOD IF YOU HAVE ALREADY DOWNLOADED THE FIRST VERSION. To be sure the module is running properly, make sure your license status shows "Active" at... addonmodules.php?module=RedemptionFee
