tech.girl
No suprise, was just a matter of time before it was taken offline, TJ is currently enjoying a game on his xbox 360 so dont exspect his site to return anytime soon This is sad. The chat looked very promising. I am a mac user and had to buy the license of VMWare only to run livezilla. I guess I'm going back to it..
Bobby
This is sad. The chat looked very promising. I am a mac user and had to buy the license of VMWare only to run livezilla. I guess I'm going back to it.. After two months of using this software, I too am heading back to LiveZilla. WHMCSLive, has just too many different issues, bugs, and just general annoyances. I like the concept, and I like that it's web based (which was a major plus for me), but LiveZilla is just so much more powerful.
dkent
Far too many people angry about the idiot TJ providing us with such a sh!t service with most of us being scammed. I too agree that this thread should be closed. No more free promotion for that fraudster.

Roger
Amazing.... I went to this guys site. Thought I would download the 7 day free trial. Went thru the process, registered at check out. Continued... Tells me I can't access without purchasing.... Giving benefit of the doubt. I figured I'd log in first then try to download the free trial. Attempting to log in I get the infamous "License Validation Failed." Good Grief Charlie Brown ...
dkent
LOL - You should stay well away from this, it is not just a waste of your time, but could end up costing you money. Several users have purchased "owned" copies yet due to TJ's immaturity, he decides to block access. Download LiveZilla mate, I didn't want to at first but I am so glad I did. Had it up and running within hours. WHMCS Live and me? - Took over a week and still couldn't use it. That guy has to go! If you think so too, put +1 at the end of your message! lol

Bartucxp
I was going to download it, but I think there is really something wrong with it. Best thing to do is creating the addon myself.
elfsoup
Yea I use Livezilla and love it. Tried many others but then always find my self to livezilla. It's free fast and easy.
aqualityplace
Just been reading this thread, as im looking a live chat system. I am going to hold out for V2 - but I have got to say DKENT if you are so unhappy with the service and there are alternatives out there why do you waste your time posting on this thread. I appreciate you are unhappy with the serivce, but it appears this project isn't a full time job for the developer - which he has already been honest about. You havent lost any money, so wheres the problem. I think with projects like this you need to put up or shutup There is a free trial and some people seem to be very happy. I would just say to others reading this, get the FREE trial, if it works for you great, if it doesnt log a support ticket - if you cant get ti working take this project for what it is and get on with life
cyberneticos
He's not waisting his time posting, because his opinion helped others, such as myself, decide to abandon this project. The owner of this software seems to give a hoot about this project anymore, and if you have read every post, aparently the owner was asking for money upfront without the project being done,. and quite a bit of money. So actually YOU are waisting everyones time, becuase all you've done is compained about other peoples opinion without giving any usefull one yourself all though I don't mind waisting mine pointing this out to you. Why don't YOU try it, since all of us already have and most of us are NOT happy, and then either share with us your experiencie or shut yourself. aqualityplace
yeah, asked their support a question got no reply - brought kayako and got on with my life now the problem is intergrating kayako The developer has clearly stated this is not a full time project for them (this is the risk you take). I guess the $6 fee is a bit of a problem
LicenseChef
I'm wondering if there is a big demand for a live chat that could integrate into WHMCS ? If so, what is the price you are willing to pay for such module ?
Roger
I've been price shopping these for a few days. There is quite a spread between them cost wise. Also quite a variety in quality as well. I've seen/used some GPL scripts that were very nice. I think a couple rival most of the commercial apps. Having one integrated with WHMCS would be good for me. As for price I just don't know guys. $75.00-$100.00 USD for an owned license.... I personally am not real interested in the source. But would like the ability to add my own logo. Not unbrand it lust add my own logo and of course change the button images. There's a lot of presumption as to what "integrated" with WHMCS means too. weba
I am looking for a new chat system, now using kayako but since we are gonna move to WHMCS in 2 months we will stop using that. Livezilla is the choice we made. Have been reading this unprofessional thread(I am a but surprised that the moderators allow this) because a chat system as a module would be more interesting. dreas
I just wanted to order WHMCS Live but indeed noticed the site was down, and reading the posts here it's good I didn't buy. LiveZilla doesn't seem to be an option since it's Windows based. Any recommendations for a Linux based live chat? Ideally GPL, but for good software we can pay as well. WHMCS Live seemed ideal since we just switched to WHMCS.
HostOrca
Livezilla will works on Linux servers. The operator console that you download is windows based so you need windows on your pc.
dkent
Nice to know mine and Liam's comments are sending interested people elsewhere Pat on the back for us. I wonder how much money Liam and I have cost him because of this! He probably doesn't care, he's too addicted to his XBox....
easyhosting
Comm 100 is also a good free chat service without the need to install anything onto your server as they host this themselves
