What is Zoho Cliq?

Zoho Cliq is the new name of Zoho Chat rebranded in September 2017. The app has been given extra features to meet the needs of today’s business and office users. Whereas the previous software was limited to conventional chat and sharing, Zoho Cliq now incorporates a must-have for modern teams – voice and video functionality for more cohesive communication and deeper collaboration. Zoho Cliq allows you to have direct chat and messaging with another user, or with several users/members in a chat room or channel. Now you can have as many channels as you want simultaneously, all viewable from a single window. The ability to share files is still there, but the biggest addition is that now you can make audio or video calls right from within the channel. Deployment has been expanded from not only being a web app but also as a desktop app for Mac, Windows and Ubuntu. Mobile apps are also available for Android and iOS.

Why do you need Cliq Notifications?

The unofficial Cliq notifications module for WHMCS give you the ability to receive notifications in Zoho Cliq app with a setting rules that you can setup from the notifications section in WHMCS admin area. You may select multiple events within any given event category for example ticket, invoice, order, service, domain and API.

This module only works for admin staff it doesn't work for your clients.

How it works?

After installing the Cliq notifications module for WHMCS you need to register at Zoho Cliq website https://www.zoho.com/cliq/signup.html and create an Auth token by going to https://accounts.zoho.com/apiauthtoken/create?SCOPE=ZohoCliq/InternalAPI then setup the Auth token until you get the Auth token after that enter the Auth token in the Cliq notifications module also you can add a default channel name or overwrite default channel name. From the notifications section you can create a new notification rule from there you can select a rule name and choose an event also you may select multiple events within any given event category for example ticket, invoice, order, service, domain and API. You can apply some conditions to the notification to restrict when the rule is executed.

After installing the Flock notifications module for WHMCS you need to register at Flock website https://web.flock.com and create an Incoming Webhook by navigating to the Flock Developer Dashboard at https://dev.flock.com and click Webhooks on the left then setup the webhook until you get the webhook URL after that enter the webhook URL in the Flock notifications module also you can add a sender username. From the notifications section you can create a new notification rule from there you can select a rule name and choose an event also you may select multiple events within any given event category for example ticket, invoice, order, service, domain and API. You can apply some conditions to the notification to restrict when the rule is executed.
