vivyrelaxe
Hello, Today, without changing anything in my invoice template, the system cannot send new invoices and give me this error message: Email Sending Failed - SMTP Error: data not accepted. Before that I had this error: Email Sending Failed - SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host. (Subject: Facture client) so I made some changed to verify it. I try TLS and I verified all my configurations information. I changed my info for what I had yesterday and I changed the password in case of... (I also changed it on the mailbox of course) Before today all was working perfectly and suddenly, nothing... No invoice can be sent. Someone here can help me, please? WHMCS ChrisD
@vivyrelaxe Who do you use as your SMTP provider? Do you experiance an issue if you change from SMTP to PHP? Are you able to send other emails via the SMTP server without issue?
vivyrelaxe
Ahhh good question! I just made a test via webmail and no email received to my other email addresses hotmail and another domain hosted elsewhere. Do you know what can do that on the server? I've no idea... yesterday all was working perfectly and this morning, without any change, it is not working at all.... 😞 Thank you to help me. WHMCS ChrisD
@vivyrelaxe That would indicate there is an issue with the SMTP server, I'd recommend reaching out to your server administrator and ask them to review the SMTP Server

WHMCS Developer WHMCS Andrew Posted August 21, 2019 WHMCS Developer Share Posted August 21, 2019 I would like to add in here that the error you are getting is a generic one. You could try following the troubleshooting steps on https://docs.whmcs.com/Email_Sending_Issues#Troubleshooting and this could provide a more detailed message for you.
