WHMCS change "next Due Date" on domains

I have my domains registered with Enom. 

On my WHMCS setup for each customer, I have the 'Next Due Date" set to the first day of the expiration month.

Every time one customer does a payment, that Due Date change to the Enom next date.

For exemple:
I setup expiration for domain abc.com to 02/01/2017
the client pay it on 02/04/17
WHMCS automatic changes the next due date to 02/25/2018

How can I prevent WHMCS to change my Next Due Date?

Hello @ehm,

This wouldn't be possible, the Next Due Date automatically updates when your clients make a payment, this should also trigger a renewal with eNom as well.

What are you specifically trying to achieve?

I charge my clients on monthly basis. All invoices are generated on the first day of the month.
THe way it is today, some months some clients get 2, 3, 5 invoices (depending how many domains they have and the due date)
so I was trying to make all payments be fix on the first of the month.

do you have Domain Sync (and Next Due Date Sync enabled ?? if so, that could be responsible for changing the NDD.
