Domain Sync Cron not showing all domains

WEBPC

Recommended Posts

Using WHMCS 5.3.13 on W2012 r2 with the TPP registrar module activated

When the domainsync.php cron job runs it emails a report which shows about 10% of the domains with TPP. Shouldn't it be showing every TPP domain?

I have compared a number of domains that are showing against those that are not and cannot see any differences in the way they are configured in WHMCS.

Renewals/Registrations work and update the TPP side records even if the domain doesn't appear in the domainsync report. However, I have found at least one domain that was renewed via the TPP website but the domain expirt date hasn't been updated in WHMCS.

Any ideas?

Antony

Hi Antony,

the domain sync only checks 50 domains upon each cron run.

http://docs.whmcs.com/Domains_Tab#Domain_Sync_Enabled

This can be configured as often as you like, however to avoid overloading your domain registrar we recommend running it every 4 hours. The sync script will check Active 50 and Pending Transfer domains at a time; Active domains will have their Expiry Date corrected to match the registrar if different, if the dates already match it will report "In Sync". Pending Transfer domains will usually report an error until the transfer process is complete at which point the status will automatically be changed to Active and the Expiry Date obtained from the registrar.
