How to show full conversation to client in support ticket email replies

When I reply to a client's support ticket in WHMCS, my understanding is that all the client receives in the email that they receive is my single reply. In other words, the full conversation/thread of emails that have been exchanged on that ticket so far are NOT included in the email the client receives each time I make another reply to their ticket.

 

Is it possible for a client to receive the full conversation of emails against a ticket, each time they receive an email with my latest reply to their ticket? A client has just asked me if this is possible.

 

I recognise that they can login to their client area in our WHMCS to see the full conversation thread, but what they're requesting is specifically that they see all comms to-date in each email they receive.

Hello sentq - can you give us more help in terms of how to actually do a custom change to achieve this, i.e. so that clients can see the full thread of emails each time a ticket is responded to?

using this Action Hook you can modify the message sent to your client to include all previous replies, you can get this information from database.
