How do I NOT let customers change their Payment Method?

In some cases customers are questionable and I do not want them to use credit cards directly.

 

Is there a way to only allow these customers to use Paypal?

 

Otherwise if I change them to Paypal they will just switch back and try a different card.

Setup -> General Settings -> Invoices

 

"Clients Choose Gateway" - Tick to allow clients to choose the gateway they pay with.

 

so to prevent them from changing their payment method, make sure the box is NOT ticked.

Funny, I had the opposite experience. I had clients attempt to pay with stolen PayPal accounts, and I ended up removing PayPal as a payment option. I have not had any problems allowing them to pay directly with a credit card, via my merchant account. Are you doing offline payments, or something?
