Add configurable option depending on other configurable option choice.

Hope I can explain this clear enough.

 

Say I have a VPS package setup in whmcs, it has a configurable option where you can choose location, eg. Sweden and United States.

 

What I'm looking for, is a way to have another configurable option appear if the client choose United States.

 

Is that possible somehow or does it require a more advanced setup to make it work.

Hi,

 

As per my knowledge, not possible. Set each product for each location, eg. VPS - Sweden, VPS - United States. And then use for all your VPS products all your normal configurable options. From the cart, the customer will then be able to select the VPS product you offer based on the locations.

I would suggest that Marco's solution is probably the easiest solution to your problem.

 

in theory, I suspect that it is possible to do it, but would likely require significant coding to make it work in whmcs.

Well, I have to rectify. Not sure why I said "not possible". I hate this phrase and normally I do not use it

 

All is possible (for sure) but as Brian said, there is some additional hack needed to get this worked.
