[not a bug] Product upgrade

Hi,

Greetings!

I love WHMCS..but I have a small problem with upgrade/downgrade option.

Under the products, I have selected upgrade for a UK package for only plans hosted on UK server. The example is shown for UK-500 plan.

 

But in the upgrade/downgrade options page for UK-500 plan, it shows all packages (US packages also are shown which is not selected as an upgrade option)

 

I haven't checked as a client. But I saw it as an Admin user.

Please see the screenshots.

Is it a bug?

Same i just checked mine. Please share what you find from the users side, as i think it will show correctly there and this is the way it should be. But share what you find thanks.

it's not a bug - as an admin, you are able to upgrade/downgrade to any package... not just those you've pre-selected for the client as options.

 

i'd be surprised if, when you check this on the client side, that they would be able to up/downgrade to anything other than those packages you've selected in the settings.

 

if they can, and you're sure that your settings are correct, then please report back.

Brian! here is exactly right, our working expectation is that Admin's know what they want to do and we should do as little as possible to prevent them from doing it.

 

This can be counter-intuitive sometimes, but it is the intended behavior.
