WHMCS Forum Module

https://clients.no-half-pixels.com/whmcs-forum

The WHMCS Forum module is the most advanced user interaction module for WHMCS. It is a full forum application in its own right and integrates seamlessly with WHMCS and your clients.

Once installed (which simply involves uploading to the correct directory) it is ready to go. All your clients can access the forum, all admins can moderate it and forums / boards / topics / replies can be created.

All forum templates intergrate seamlessly with the default WHMCS template, and any bootstrap css styled website. The templates provided also provide each element with a unique class so custom styling is easy to achieve.

There is no additional registration needed by your clients, or login shares, the forum user base is your client list!

The whmcs forum module is in its infancy right now with version 1 being just released, however it has a great and extensive feature list which is being added to all the time:

  • Board and Topic Searches
  • Forums (categories), Boards (with nested boards), Topics (with replies) layout
  • Twitter bootstrap styling enabled
  • SEO urls available (requires mod_rewrite)
  • Read Only / Hidden status for guests
  • Topic subscriptions and notifications
  • Clients are users, Admins are moderators
  • Create custom topic status groups, and assign groups on a per board basis
  • Custom profile data (separate to WHMCS custom fields)
  • Forum Signatures
  • Forum Display Name
  • Custom Forum Breadcrumbs (can be enabled or disabled)
  • Optional Require Login for access

hello lance,

thanks for the interest. unfortunately we don't offer free trials for any of our products. we do however offer a full 30 days money back guarantee, this is a full offer and a reason sing required for the refund (although we would like to know how it could be better if a refund is given).

its funny you should mention that, i was just righting a topic about it.

https://clients.no-half-pixels.com/forum/45/topicreply-count-for-boards-should-contain-count-of-child-boards-too.html

its not a bug, it by design, the board "currently" counts its topics and replies, not including the stats from sub boards.

all the topics are within a sub board of either "change log/bugs/feature requests", which are counted fine.

we though when coding it this should be how its done, but we may be rethinking this and at least making it optional to include/merge the stats of the child boards too.

yes thats why we are adding an option to count sub boards, will be out soon.

The Feature Full forum doesn't show post counts of forums?

BTW, this is the WHMCS forums. You couldn't come up with a more suitable name for this?

i think your mistaken, it does show topic/reply counts per board, on our forum we have nested boards with topics in them, which is why the count was not added.

however we have added nested board counts to the main board stats now in 1.0.1 with is in development right now.

All our modules follow the same naming convention, and yes this is the whmcs forum, but its not hard to distinguish the two, this is "the" whmcs forum, ours is a whmcs forum module.

our module names describe best what the module does. i think everyone would be happier us spending more time developing than naming things.

Hey Lee,

I was curious does this support having custom user-groups to where certain clients can't see anything but others can have full access? The wording was a little odd on "Create custom topic status groups, and assign groups on a per board basis" or do all clients get full access?

If you can put clients into groups, are there permissions as well such as restricting post new topic access and just allow vieing/replying to existing threads?

Hi,

I purchased this module and got a template issue (not seeing lines/columns making the forums painful to browse/read).

I submitted a ticket with no half pixels 6 days ago and I am still waiting for a reply.

Hello dimitri,

Sorry for the delay on this, ive logged in and made the changes for you now.

Just to clarify this was a change needed with the template and not the module files.

regards
