love4bd
I am using WHMCS offline credit card processing for Bangladesh customer. I am using local bank merchant. This merchant only process Bangladeshi Visa & Master Card. But, I need to provide number exp & CVV. I can't find out cvv. I only find out number & EXP. which may be enough for international merchant. But, for my local merchant, for process credit card, I must need cvv. Where I will find CVV on WHMCS?
brian!
as far as I know, whmcs doesn't store any CVV information.

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted September 12, 2013 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted September 12, 2013 Hi, That's correct, it's against card issuer rules for the CVV number to be stored in any format, so WHMCS does not. You'll need authority from your credit card processor to to process payments without the CVV number (ie. cardholder not present transactions).
Telfie
Hi Why does it ask for CVV when it records the data then?
bear
It will only ask for the CVV if using a third party tokenized gateway. The CVV is collected and processed in real time then discarded, and subsequent payments on that same card/account are considered valid. It's not permitted to store that number anywhere, at any time.
Damo
It asks for the CVV on non tokenised gateways too. eWAY is an example. The CVV is not stored, it is on the payment form though.

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted February 3, 2014 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted February 3, 2014 Hi, Indeed, WHMCS never stored the CVV number as to do so would be strictly against card issuer's policies. You will need to obtain the ability to process such payments without the CVV, or phone the customer and ask them for it when you come to process their payment.
