I'm seeing a recurring problem with WHMCS ticket management. It is possibly related to the use of AJAX. I noticed this some time ago when using Kayako , and am now seeing that the WHMCS organic ticket management will not post ticket responses - but will sometimes appear to do so.

Lets keep in mind that this problem may also be affecting WHMCS technical support.

simple. SPAMMERS

I know I've reported 2-3 posts in the last few days that had affiliate marketing crap attached... I think 1 or two in this thread, which would explain the *small* drop in post count.

If they decided to "cleanse" the forum of negative opinion the number of posts would drop a lot more than 2. :)

If you aren't happy with the level of support, I would recommend emailing the CEO of cPanel. I'm not going to display his email address on here, but if you can figure out his first name, his email address is firstname@cpanel.net.

I complained to him, he informed me he's aware of it and they are working on it, but I have tickets over a month old without responses.

I think it'd be good for several people to start complaining as well so he gets the hint that this is a very serious issue, not just an issue affecting me.

Again, if you figure out his email address, don't post it here... I'm sure he gets enough spam.

Not complaining about support, but I just think that excuse of "going to the bottom of the queue" is rather funny. In my WHMCS new tickets are always on top and in bold so it's easy to see which ones have not been read yet. Old tickets are the ones in the bottom. ;)

True, that.

Don't believe everything you read. :-)

I still moderate quite a bit, but don't participate as much in conversations.

Just to add another little bit to ALL the " Beta testing should be done on dev licence people"

Here is a direct quote from WHMCS with regard to the beta

"The idea is to use it in a "live" system in order to discover any issues so you would need to upgrade your existing installation."

WHMCS V5.1 Release Candidate

We are pleased to announce the release candidate (RC1) version of WHMCS 5.1 is now available from our client area.

This is pre-release software and is not intended for production use. This RC comes after the beta period but before the final release - it is the final stage of testing prior to the stable release. At this stage we believe all key areas of the system are functioning normally and all reported issues during the beta have been resolved.
