Matthewrep
** With the new Ticket Closure Controls in WHMCS 8.11, are we empowering businesses to maintain service quality, or are we inadvertently creating a system where customers feel trapped and unheard? Could this feature backfire by fostering frustration instead of trust?
bear
We have never autoclosed any tickets (they're reviewed every few days as they progress if not resolved). No place for automation, at least in our operation.

No place for automation, at least in our operation. Auto-close is a terrible idea. Also, I'd like to know who thought it was a good idea to warn clients of ticket closures! In general, except for the new ticket confirmation, any automation here is bad for a business that cares about customers, in my opinion.

I've looked at so many comments, wisecp is the first time I've seen it. and I don't understand how it's still not used. we know that it's much better and much cheaper than whmcs, but I have a doubt again. they also get regular updates every month and add new features 🙂
bear
Wise is costly. $1,290 for branding free, with a single year of updates. $75 (currently) each year after. Not saying WHMCS is cheap, but that's a big up front hit.

It is much more convenient to buy a lifetime licence and at least they take into account the customers and update by accepting their requests. You may think that I use wisecp because I told you so, but I still use whmcs because habits are not easily left

I had two.

Pricing is good!
bear
Didn't think to look at monthly, just because of the way things went here as well as Kayako and more. A few hundred a year isn't at all bad, until that becomes like this. 😉 Frankly, it may be in my future moving to it. $22 vs $29 (lowest WHMCS) without all the forced telemetry (one would hope) and features no one (well, the majority, I'd guess) asked for or wanted.... Looking more closely.

Looking more closely. Yes, I had a lifetime license of whmcs and since I could not get support, it was no longer useful to me and I transferred it. Wisecp, on the other hand, still sells a lifetime license and the price is really quite reasonable. so as someone who is bored and overwhelmed in whmcs right now, I can switch to wisecp at any moment, but my habits and the transition process are ruining me :)

Wisecp might actually be a good alternative if they do have good customizability like for vps deployment
snake
does wiseCP handle bulk pricing updates properly, unlike WHMCS. i.e. can I bulk update TLD's and product prices by a percentage and have this also applied to clients billing.

I don't know, it would be better to ask them this question
