Hello,

I want report a bug in 7.8 also in 7.8.1

After Forgotten Password Success message if we click to login client area fro message its send to 404 error page not in client area homepage.  Tested in two whmcs installation and using Six template without any modification.

I got below respond from WHMCS team they confirmed it a bug

 

Thank you for the detailed report! I have been able to reproduce this and have opened case #CORE-13683 with our developers in order to have this resolved for future releases. Unfortunately, I cannot provide an estimated time for completion for this. However, once we resolve cases and push features they are available at our change log, here:

I apologize for the inconvenience, and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this. In the meantime, you can work around this by switching the Friendly URLs setting to Basic URLs under Setup > General Settings > General tab. I tested that locally as well, and the link generated on the affected page was correct when it was used instead.

I have saw that bug since RC1, but was not sure if were an issue or not, because I was using custom template and tought could be my local enviroment problem. Hell, in future will post even in doubt...we could has this issue fixed NOW.

Any updates on this? For now I have switched to basic urls as well.
