HostX WHMCS Template Advance Page Manager Feature

Recommended Posts

We are looking here for the feedback on our newly introduced Advance Page Manager feature in HostX template.

We have created this feature in order to ease the burden of our HostX users. We all know how simple is it to create a page in WordPress, keeping in mind we introduced this page manager feature.

With Advance page Manager, admin can create a new page in his WHMCS website (When Using HostX Template) very similar to WordPress.

Find out how easy is it:

1. Go To Page Manager Under WGS HostX Addon

2. Here you can find this list of all created pages. We have given some options to every page like "Preview A Page", "Edit Page", "Enable Or Disable a Page", "Delete a Page".

Start a new page by clicking on Add a New Page.

3. Now you need to "Add the Page Title", you can alter the URL slug as per your seo needs.

We have created the Page Type options

1. Static Page

2. VPS Product Page

3. Dedicated Product Page

Admin has to choose from these above-mentioned page types. If a user wants to use this page to sell VPS Products then they can choose VPS Product Page, in case of dedicated products they need to select the Dedicated Pages.

We have differentiated these pages types as on the basis of the selection, admin can assign the Products Groups to these pages. If they VPS then they will only get options to assign the VPS products and similar in the case fo Dedicated Servers.

4. Banner Contents Management

You can easily add Banner Contents according to the language.

5. On the right, you can add SEO tags and OG tags.

6. Select Menu Under Which You need to Make this Page Live

Now you need to select the menu item under which you want to list this new page, the menu items are the top menu items of the front end website.

7. Set Banner Featured Image

You need to select a banner featured image to assign to this page.

6. In the last, it comes to the main section Drag N Drop Page Builder.

By default, you will find only the Banner Block. If the user saves the page without assigning the blocks, they will see such kind of page.

Testlive.thumb.png.ddc2ea1fa469e076f4a6b3b1655c8b4e.png

So it is mandatory to assign the blocks to build the page.

Please let us know, how do you like this feature in the comments.

Looks nice. So this creates smarty TPL templates on your existing theme? If yes, you should consider restricting this to staff permissions as I'm not sure if everyone wants to give access to their staff to create pages on their site.

      What is FAQs Manager?
The frequently asked questions FAQs manager for WHMCS allows admins, with appropriate permissions, to create question and answer pairs which they want displayed on the faq page. With FAQs manager you can create an FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section for your website, thus making it more valuable for clients. From the configuration the admin can enter the number of questions to display in FAQ home page. For social media sharing we included AddThis share buttons and disqus comments for categories. The FAQs manager come with multi language and admin can select the languages he wants to use. Also, the admin can allow registered clients to submit questions the admin will receive an email notification about the question request and admin can approve the question and add an answer from the module page also the admin can allow only registered client view the FAQ page

      Hello all
I'm surprised that this doesn't appear to be have been quoted / commented on more than it has, as I'd suspect it affects far more than just the handful to raise their hands so far.
When a client is logged into their WHMCS-based account, they have the ability to SSO to their cPanel-based account, a great hand-off from one platform to another. Unfortunately what doesn't happen is the domain name remaining the same - so client starts their journey at https://myhostingbrand.com/client and then is passed into cPanel at https://servername.myresellerbrand.com:2083
This breaks the whitelabelling nature of being a reseller and exposes domain names that can lead to confusion with the end client.
@WHMCS Peter has documented that this is possible, and a Feature request has been created.
If you also experience this (or even if you don't!) it would be great to get the "I like this idea" count up and try to bring this development forward, so that everyone who uses WHMCS with cPanel can enhance the reselling experience for their clients.
      Thanks
      Matt

Since upgrading to version 7.8.3, a lot of robot accounts have suddenly appeared, using confusing names and various email addresses.

I have opened the verification code in the background management interface, but there are still robots to register and cannot be completely blocked. Please give a solution.

      Hi
Client charged 2nd time even if invoice is paid, Client paying using PayPal subscription. BUT In previous two months it was normal and charging only once per invoice.
      Invoice 1: https://nimb.ws/J2Apmk
      Invoice 2: https://nimb.ws/W1ci0K
      Log: https://nimb.ws/gdYsqv
Is this setting from PayPal Subscription or anything else in Product setup?

      Thanks in advance
