Hi

Today we found that all services are disappeared from our client area and our clients are not able to see their services.

The services are shown in admin area.

It's a big problem and our client's are blaming us for this. Any idea why this issue occurred and how to fix it?

Thank you brian but it's not related to my issue. I'm not getting a blank page. All pages are loading fine. the only problem is with "My Services" page. It's not listing any services and it says "No Records Found".

it could be related to a hook/addon error - if it's saying NRF, then something must be preventing the database query from running correctly, or it is and something else is wiping the results.

i'd have said it might have been a database connection issue, but if it's only occurring on this one page, then I doubt it's that.

are you using a custom theme? if so, does this issue exist when using "Six" ??

have you made any recent changes to your WHMCS installation ??

I'm using a custom theme but the problem persists with default themes too.

I didn't change anything. I have an open ticket in WHMCS support regarding an upgrade issue since 2 days ago. I thought they are working on my website and it caused the issue but they said they were not working on my installation. So it seems nobody changed anything!

I also disabled all hook/addons but it didn't fix the issue.

they would say that. :)

you could try re-uploading the 'vendor' folder again from the full release of the version you're currently using (I assume 7.1.2) - it shouldn't cause any new issues, but perhaps a file (or files) got corrupted during the previous upgrade...

re-uploading 'vendor' is usually one of the first steps to try with situations like this - it contains about 2/3 of the encrypted files used by WHMCS and, as you can't really customise any of them, it should be perfectly safe to upload again.

I restored the pre-upgrade database backup and the issue has fixed.

But since the backup is old (created 2 days ago) do you know what tables should I export from the today's database (corrupted one) and import to the restored database to prevent missing new data? (such as support tickets, new registrations,orders,invoices,transactions,...)

how do you know you won't be importing the corruption back too? :?:

tblhosting might be the one to take care with... that's what the services page will be querying and might have been the location of the corruption...

You don't necessarily have to import them manually. However, Brian is right , you don't know if that's going to cause the problem again.

Since you have a backup already made (from two days ago), you need to take a look at the following tables from your 'updated' install

tblinvoices, tblinvoiceitems, tbltransactions, tblhosting,tblorders

Back up the now working db, then try to import the old tables in one at a time, and back up )again).

When you see the corruption occur, then you know that's where the problem is.
