Boxne
Hi, We are currently experiencing a WHMCS configuration issue when ordering any of our products. When you navigate to our customer portal (WHMCS) and order any of our products the product price is not the set price in WHMCS, it's a few dollars lower. I've created a bare bone product and the pricing is still discounted, where would a configuration like this live? Not sure how to resolve this issue and need your help. Thank you!
WHMCS ChrisD
Hi Boxne, Just to rule out a template issue could you please switch back to the template Six and Standard_Cart to see if this has an impact. Also, do you have any taxes enabled?
brian!
that's really weird - it's applying a discount to ALL products, domains and configurable options at something close to 7.2% all the time. it also doesn't seem to be orderform template related - I can't see any promotional codes being used; i'm not logged in, so it can't be client group pricing. i'd be inclined to think tax too, but it's discounting the price and not adding to it (unusually for a tax!)... any chance of a 3rd-party addon being used?
Boxne
Hi Boxne, Just to rule out a template issue could you please switch back to the template Six and Standard_Cart to see if this has an impact. Also, do you have any taxes enabled? Thank you for your reply. We verified it was not the template by applying one of the default templates for our main billing page as well as Shopping Cards. We do have a level 1 Tax Rule in place for California residents only at 7.50%, once i removed this rule, discounts were no longer being applied. Why would this be causing an issue? Shouldn't it be adding 7.50% to California Residents, rather than removing it for everyone? Thank you again for your assistance.
brian!
it sounds as though it was setup incorrectly - perhaps inclusive for all countries, rather than exclusive for US->California ?

Hi Boxne, Are your Tax Rules set to Inclusive or Exclusive?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted March 24, 2017 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted March 24, 2017 Hi, Please ensure that you do not have -1.00 enter as a pricing anywhere in the product configuration for any billing cycle. This could include the parent product, setup fees, configuration options or product addons.
