CCSupport
Hello all, A weird one... We have an eNom account....this was setup through WHMCS as most have done. As anyone with an eNom account will know when logging in you can look at the Domain Pricing. It shows 'My Cost' and also you can set the costs if registering directly with them. Obviously the costs which say 'My Costs' would be expected to be exactly that...however we have seen an issue whereby a cost of a .co.uk domain transfer for instance says one cost within our eNom control panel but we are being charged $2.48 more when it goes through per domain! We obviously contacted eNom support....their response was that the account parent seller comes up with the charges and we should contact them...in this instance it's WHMCS. We have created a support ticket to find out what is going on...however in the meantime has anyone else seen this issue? It would be crazy to have eNom showing us one price but we actually get charged another! Interested to find out what others think of this.
brian!
I think the same thing applies with resellerclub too if you sign up through the whmcs partner page - you're basically signing up to be a reseller of a reseller - so a sub-reseller. I don't use either enom or resellerclub, but if you take a look at the whmcs resellerclub prices, then take a look at the resellerclub prices on their own site, there is a big difference... I know you have to deposit £15/$25 to get these prices, but i'm sure one of their sales guys once told me that this can be used on domains purchases, so it's nothing more than creating a balance for the account.

There doesn't seem to be a different price list for eNom from WHMCS. We've run a report and it looks like (so far) the prices within the eNom account are correct, apart from domain transfers. We will look again on Monday but certainly something weird is going in! We're hoping it's just us getting something wrong otherwise we'll have to look elsewhere!
lance
not had a problem personally with the prices at enom (via reseller), though have to say we do not use it for UK domains, we use Nominet for them. All other via enom charge what is advertised on their site (bottom right of page for prices when logged in)
