WHMCS Nate Posted March 11, 2014 Share Posted March 11, 2014 Brian, Is partly correct, the overarching assumption in the admin area is that admin's know what they want to do, so allow them to override things if that is what they think is right. We have discussed this internally and are planning on implementing an additional ACL that allows the admin to override promo code rules, so you could remove this option from users you don't trust to implement this. His recommended work around will also work without trouble. Our documentation team is planning to expand the documentation around this to make it easier to understand.
