[resolved] [Case #2950] 5.2.6 appears to break mass mailer

Just a heads up to anyone that upgrades to 5.2.6, don't try and send a mass email as it appears to be broken in this release. It will only send the first batch and then return an invalid token message on the second batch.

 

I've reported the bug to WHMCS, just want to save others some frustration.

Can someone else verify this bug? I'd rather not test it to see if it's actually broken, as I don't want it to send e-mails to the clients.

I was able to replicate this in two separate WHMCS installs on different servers.

 

You can test if this broken in your WHMCS by creating a test product or group and assigning two test users to that group and send a mass email.

 

Then in the Mass Mail Settings box: put in Send 1 emails every 10 seconds until complete.

 

What happens for me is in the first message sends and then when it reloads to send the next one I get an invalid token.

sigh wish i had read this thread before i tried twice to send out a message.... happens to me too. is there anyway to skip the people that already received the message?

I dont know if this bugs or not, every i ran Mass Mail always got error Invalid Token.

Anyone face the same problem?
