spellinn
I think for something like this they should release a module compatible (and tested) with previous WHMCS releases. It's unrealistic to expect everyone to upgrade to the latest code release just to maintain working registrar support, especially as this changed was announced by Nominet so long ago, so it's not like they didn't know it was coming.
Si
All might want to read this: http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?74146-WHMCS-Private-Beta-Testing-Request&p=322923#post322923 UPDATE: Well it seems Infopro is now going to update this thread and delete my off-topic posts on the other thread. Here's hoping guys. (And don't be surprised if this is edited or deleted too). Sad. Edited June 24, 2013 by Si
pjs32
Hi, Does anoyone know when the module will be released - as 9th July is the deadline? - below is taken from this thread: http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.ph...923#post322923 06-27-13, 04:42 PM #30 WHMCS Chris WHMCS Staff Re: nominet module concerns Hello, As promised, this case (#2537) regarding the Nominet API changes is in active development and will be shipped within the 5.3 branch to address their update in the API. Additionally, as it's modular, it will be made available singularly thus users not running 5.3 can install it to their preferred version within the Long Term Support policy.
spellinn
It's getting too close to comfort. I'd want several days to test the new module before deploying into our live environment, and time is fast running out. If I don't get the new module in by the 9th, by business is dead: 90% of my domains are with Nominet. Regards Neil
brian!
WHMCS Chris did say, in one of the other Nominet threads, that the module goes into testing and code review today, so I would guess/hope if it passes that, it would be released sometime tonight or this weekend. i'm pretty sure he did also say there would be post when it becomes available... either here or in the blog.
