Thank you one and all. Yes that popular category is large. I will now be adjusting it. When new update comes along I guess I will have to redo but I don't mind.

That did not help at all

Tld categories use to appear in my six template. Now they are gone. How do I get them back.

Usually I wait a while for kinks to be taken care of with an upgrade. This time I took a chance and did it earlier. WOW 1.st After install could not even get to the install folder. The website just kept looping back to itself. Ok so did a complete fresh install in a different folder. Reissued the lisence. So far so good. Of course had to use a different database to get it started. Fixed that problm on was when I add the serverping module for stripe get blank page. Removed it. Added the WHMCrc modules and so far so good. Now comes the problem Netearthone domains appear in price list but cannot add the enom domains through the domainpricing tab in whmcs. Added two through the database and they now appear fine. (var had been uped to 5000) Will adding them through the database cause a problem? Can I change the ID#s in tbldomainpricing to match the ID#'s listed in tbltld or will that cause a problem?

Domain registrar issue - resellerclub - dns2 invalid
ninak replied to reason2design-jon's topic in Using WHMCS
I had the same problem but it was fixed by going into the resellerclub panel. The error was under the way the DNS was entered. leave out ns# and just put in reason2design.com. -
I was using Modern, but I have now switched to vertical steps and it seems to be working fine in that one.

Enter only the part after the www. and include the TLD" Is anyone else having this problem.

I updated to 6.02 about two weeks ago. Everything was working fine till Sunday. Started to get this error and nothing is updating. <br /> <b>Parse error</b>: syntax error, unexpected '=' in <b>/home/XXXXXXX/public_html/whmcs2/crons/config.php</b> on line <b>4</b><br /> Is this happening to anyone else and have you figured it out.

Thank you Brian for your answer as I was about to ask the same thing.

That depends on the registrar. Some will have you deposit a specific amount before you can register any domains. Others allow you to pay as you go. If you have money in your account with them, payment is automatically taken from your deposit otherwise you will have to manually pay your agreed amount.

I have had it with Braintree. Tried using them in July but people were having a problem with cvs not being accepted. Last Thursday reuploaded the newer version. Everything went fine till Sunday. Everyone was being declined and problems with the csv thing again. All seem to have been settled by credit card company. Yesterday got an email from their risk department regarding two transactions. They wanted the addresses of these two and phone numbers. Also asked for drivers license and latest bank statement. Wrote back and gave them info on the two clients but asked whose drivers license and bank info they want, mine or the students. This morning totally fed up with them as they have stated that they will be returning the settlement of these to to the credit card companies. Wrote back that I am now fed up and will closing this account. Now get an email stating that they will out of 52 transactions only 5 got settled (Don't know where they got that number as only ten have used it and 3 tried to but it wouldn'd work.) The 5 that have settled have already been credited back to the cardholder(s) according to them. I will never recommend this place.

You may want to check with Paypal too as we were getting the same message. The only difference was that we were actually being notified and invoices were being marked paid. Once we called them the notices have stopped.

We had the same problem. What we finally had to do was, backup our database, delete the whmcs and then reinstall. everything working fine now.

Just remember that Google does not consider Hosting as a digital good so you cannot use the wallet for it.

My permissions are set correctly, but neither one (pop or pipe) work.

The Payement Gateway most used in Russia?
ninak replied to ECU's topic in Russian International Discussions's Topics
I believe Paypal is available in Russia https://www.paypal.com/ru/webapps/mpp/home -
https://stripe.com There is a free module that you can use for Stripe that works great with WHMCS. I do not know about Braintree.

I had spoken to someone by the name with Sally at Google support and was told to change my settings to internet service. So I did. About 24 hours later I received a message that hosting was not considered as internet services. Again called support and given to three different people. All gave me a different answer to the same question. My point is that at that time their own employees were just as confused as I was, so I have decided to stay clear of Google. Did look into the services that they recommended and have a strange feeling about them so we decided to go with Stripe. So far so good. (Personally have not even used google search since they introduced google chrome. I did not like their terms and agreements as to forgoing my right to privacy)

We have just placed the following announcement on our web site. So totally not satisfied with this company. Google Checkout We no longer accept Google checkout payments. Existing clients using this function will need to use another payment method. (You can now do a direct credit card payment from almost anywhere in the world.) Due to the confusing nature of Google's Wallet use whereas each support person at Google tells you something different, we have decided that since they cannot decide we will have to do it for them. Google can not make up it's mind whether a Hosting Service is considered an internet service and eligble for the use of Google Wallet digital or is just a plain service related entity. It seems, based on the look of the API that one would have to use, it is highly un user friendly and very confusing. So in order to keep it simple for our clients we have decided to forgo Google entirely. Sorry for any inconvenience they may cause you. Monday, July 1, 2013

Google shutting down Google Checkout on Nov 20, 2013

Not a programmer so when I looked at these instructions my head began to swim. I hope that the staff at WHMCS can work on this and add it to the next version. -
Google shutting down Google Checkout on Nov 20, 2013
ninak replied to neobug103's topic in General Discussion
First log in to your google account and then go to http://www.google.com/wallet/business/ You will see a link to sign up. Once you put your name in It should bring up yor google checkout info. Verify that it is ok and click. (You will not be able to put in a callback url yet) Now go to where it says how to get started. This should bring up https://developers.google.com/commer...ocs/tutorial#6 This tells you everything about the API and the token system and all. You have to create this and once you have done that the way that is good for you and tested it out in the sandbox you can go live. Once you go live you must cancel your checkout account, but if you have not yet done your API correctly you can continue to use the checkout till Nov. If your product settings are correct it will automatically switch over, but of course it won't work if you don't have the API. -
Google shutting down Google Checkout on Nov 20, 2013
ninak replied to neobug103's topic in General Discussion
I did sign up yesterday and thought that it had switched over. Talking to the rep at google and I guess that it did not switch yet. It will automatically switch in November but we have to create and install the new API then for it to work properly. This tutorial leads you through using the Google Wallet for digital goods API in your web app. https://developers.google.com/commerce/wallet/digital/docs/tutorial#6 I can switch now if the new API is installed. Not a programmer so when I looked at these instructions my head began to swim. I hope that the staff at WHMCS can work on this and add it to the next version. -
Google shutting down Google Checkout on Nov 20, 2013
ninak replied to neobug103's topic in General Discussion
I switched it over this morning and this after noon it worked for a payment in my WHMCS. Don't know if this will change come November (maybe sooner) but for now seems to work fine. I called the number that I have listed above and this is what I was told. Hosting is not a digital service on it's own. It is the internet and networking (which in a sense is digital) in conjunction with digital media. Therefore when you go to the dropdown selection for product you must choose Internet, Network, digital media. Nothing else. If you choose computer software or Service it will not work.
