I am recreating my web in another language. (Polish) It's taking time but the problem that I have is that I cannot remember how to link to the whmcs in a different language. I believe it was something like this https://(domain)/clients/index.php? (but the rest I don't remember how) Can someone please guide me in this? Thank you Janina

I don't run a non-profit hosting company (although it seems like it), but the main reason that I started hosting was to give non-profit youth oriented groups an affordable solution. I do have several accounts that are free, (depends on the group) and some that pay a minimum, but that does not mean that I would apply for a free or discounted WHMCS. Mine is through my reseller and I am very happy to have started using it. I guess it depends on how you look at things. (Still a bit confused with it, but learning)

How to add a small hosting package to domain registration
ninak posted a topic in General Discussion
Is there a way that I can add a small hosting package to domains being registered without hosting. When someone purchases a domain name and are not ordering a hosting package is it possible to automatically include a small hosting package (example or maybe 25-50 mb) but this would not be included if they purchase a regular hosting package. Can this be done? Also if I do not have the package created on my whm will this create it there? -
Don't know how good this is but have worked on it for several days. Still have a slight problem with the dropdown navigation on top. (originally started by trying to incorporate the postal template, will continue working on that but in the meantime have this one up) Would appreciate all the feedback as I can get. I have created the accounts for ssl certificates using the enomssl module, what I would like to do is attempt to create a module also for some of the other products that my customers can purchase. (ratepoint, business listing, richcontent etc.) I do have the api information for these from enom and wanted to look how the enomssl has been done so that I possibly could attempt this project, but alas that is no help as that is encrypted. Have I now totally lost it as I can't seem to find any place on the forum or on the whmcs web where they have any tutorials for this. (sometimes it is better for dummies like me to see a sample rather then a tutorial) Can any one direct me to the right place. Thank you

Email marketing software recommendations?

Has anybody looked into RatePoint? -
You do not need to use PayPal Pro to allow for payments to be made in the currency of the user. You can use Paypal Business. In your account with Paypal there is a section for allowing this. They have a list of countries that they accept currency from, and you pick and choose which countries you would like to set up the account for. The money stays (not converted) in these individual accounts till you decide to move it to either your bank account or main Paypal account. So far we have accepted payment in British Pounds, Polich zloty and the EURO. Have had no problem with it.

Yes I have uploaded it. I think though that I set up the Special user wrong. Was I suppose to make it like a client.? or staff?

There is a rvskin feature that can be enabled through your whm for allowing users/clients to go directly to their members pages in whmcs using one click in their cPanel. (http://www.rvskin.com/features/framePopup.php?pageId=34) This is what I was trying to enable.

I am trying to set up the WHMC in the WHM but it keeps telling me to set up Special User This is the required user, you need to set up on your application. We use this special user to test the ingration system. This user name should not have any services associated to it. * Special password The password for the special user. We use this password to temporary reset end-user password for login purpose, and then recover end-user password back. I have added a Special user in MSQL for whmcs and in the Administrator section of my administrators section but still keep getting this message est special user using user name (name I used) failed :: Not found user, Please create special user on 3rdparty. Can anyone please tell lme what I am doing wrong. Thank you.

Yes you can as long as your payPal account is a business account.

If you will be using a credit card to put money into your enom account then you have to do it in $100 increments, but if you want to mail a check in it can be any amount, even $10. Or you can set up the Registry rocket in enom and have the link for RR in your site and users will pay directly to enom and you get the commission. (The prices in RR are the same as you set in the main account but you can also use different ones. Using RR you can move the commission to your wallet and this way you can start building your funds.

The purchaser has to have a PayPal account for creation of a subscription service or to pay by echeck but they do hot have to have an account to just use a credit or debit card. You can set up in your PayPal account if you want to accept credit card payments from people that do not have an account with PayPal. When a subscription is set up, no invoice goes out to the person but PayPal automatically bills them for you (takes the money from there account) and puts this into our account. You should get a notification from PayPal when the money is in your account. (Depends how you have your API set up)

I went through this with another reseller account. The prices are based on the prices of your parent or initiating com. If you got your account through WHMCS then the originating prices are set by them and you have to be either higher or equal to the amount that they sell it for. Sometimes when the prices are put in by your initianting company they do go in backwards oroff kilter as I call it, but it is up to your initiating company to check them out.

In PayPal you can set up which currencies you will accept. You can even set it up so that it converts the payments to USD Dollars. We have our normal set up and have added 6 countries so that we can collect in the funds of those countries. When we need them we will transfer to USD funds to our main account.

Adding client fields to payment gateway and client details
ninak replied to vandelay's topic in Developer Corner
I still probably don't understand because I have been using my credit cards on line to pay for things and have never been asked for my social security number in order to proceed with the process. Which credit card company wants you to do this? I would at this point make sure that I would never open an account with them. -
This may not be the right spot but, One of the reasons that I use Paypal is because I can set up in it different accounts for different currencies. These are held there till I decide when to convert them to USD and transfer to my main account.

This sounds very strange. With the new PCI rules you must make sure that you are compliant before you can store any of this information. The PCI process is long, and expensive. I personally would not give you any of this information. Do you only do business in the US? Not every country uses social security numbers. -
:I have now downloaded and looked at the trial version. Currently you indicate on your web site that this has the ability to import Clientexec, but I do not see that function any place In the currency function, would there be a drop down menu for the customer to choose there currency? Where would I be able to skin the files to match my website. How often do you update?
