cPanelTools - Virtual cPanel for WHMCS

Recommended Posts

I have been extremley busy with other things this last month and now that I have freed up a little time I had better get back onto this to finish it off.

The beta is about to expire tomorrow so I will extend it tonight and make the new one available tonight as beta 4.1

"ACTIVE" is the key word there.

1) check to make sure that the server is active.

2) check that the account is actually created on the server.

3) check that the users account is also active.

It should be 1 of the 3 posibilities.

EDIT: It also checks the domain status that it is active on the user account.

I got the same error I know cpanel is working becuase I use to suspender etc.. :)

Hi sparky. I am using v1.0 Beta 4.1 and have noticed a small anomaly here: /WHMCSinstallation/cPanelTools.php?cp=advanced

It lists the server name as mydomainname and not it's actual name as defined in cPanel, WHM and WHMCS. I won't say what it should be here. But, EG: UK509 should be shown instead. Hope this feedback helps.

Thanks for pointing that out. It was showing correctly... possibly a change in the cPanel/WHM API. I will check it out.

Could well be. It's certainly the first time I've noticed it. I am running:

cPanel: v. 11.24.4-CURRENT build: 35075

WHM: v. 11.24.2 X3.9

@redrat - After testing your problem here, The API call is fine and nothing has changed.

In your whmcs admin go to Config => Servers and edit your server and you will find that you have an ip number or something else other than the actual hostname of the server.

It only pulls the actual server name and not the full hostname to display.

eg.. in hostname field : harry.domain.com will only show harry

I had the IP in my dev install as well (from some testing), once changed it back it worked fine.

It quits working and that's that! However, all things being equal, a newer version may take its' place and that will likely have a cut-off date as well unless it is the final version for which a Licence has been purchased. These 'self-liquidating' versions are just for testing purposes which is why they are date restricted.

hello Sparky

I have test your mod and it appear great...I get CpanelTools GUI with all option. Right now I am only interested to give ability to customer to create/manage their email box...I don't need other option... In fact is not possible to create email now because the domain name are not displayed in "Add a New Email Account" section...so I can not set any email address...This is normal ??? It is because is just a beta mod and you must finish to develop it ???

Another thing: I use Rvskin and for what I understand if some feature/option are currently hided in Cpanel they wont be also hided in your CpanelTools mod...It is right ??? If yes do you plan to add ability to show/hide option we want ???

thanks
