HyperSpin Server Module! (Only $10)
fetish-hosting replied to arcdigital's topic in Commercial Modules and Addons
Logic Surge are indeed the same people as Boost Modules / Boost Platform (which despite Anand's earlier post were both owned and run by him, NOT as completely separate companies where one took over the over). You can find details for Anand on linkedin.com confirming this. I know that the old Boost companies ripped off lots of people including myself and it sounds like they have now resurfaced and are up to their old tricks again. I will be trying to contact Anand one more time and give him the chance to refund my money. If I get no answer or he refuses, then will be going out of my way to cause as much trouble as possible for him / them. Just a shame I am UK based and not in the USA - anyone near Toledo, Ohio ? Ian -
It isnt about the way that you download it - it is almost certainly about the way that you are uploading it to your server ! It has to be uploaded in binary mode as the instructions say !

I believe the new namecheap API has gone live as planned by them but I have been told that the new version of the namecheap module *should* be included in 4.2 when it is released. I have therefore stopped using it for now. Hopefully it will be included in 4.2 and hopefully that will be released soon Ian

This means that you have a syntax error in your welcome email template. If you add the following line to your WHMCS configuration.php file and then try to produce the email again, you should then get an error output to the screen and can use that to correct the syntax: $display_errors = true;

Just a warning to everyone else on here : The member arcdigital that used to be active on these forums who used to run Boostmodules.com who released the Hyperspin WHMCS module and talked this one up) and is still active running Boostplatform.com is a con artist. They took 50% of a development fee up front for a custom module and never delivered and for the last 3 months have refused to reply to tickets and emails and will not refund my money.
-
I have already logged a ticket with WHMCS regarding this as I use this module. I will update on here once I get a reply
-
There is a Namecheap gateway module available that was originally written by Namecheap themselves and I have been using it for many months. However, Namecheap have just announced changes to their API and also announced that they wont be updating the module themselves as WHMCS are taking over the development !

HyperSpin Server Module! (Only $10)
fetish-hosting replied to arcdigital's topic in Commercial Modules and Addons
I paid BoostPlatform (not even BoostModules !) 50% of an amount that they quoted me for the custom development of a module back on the 13th October. Development was supposed to take 3/4 days - I was given one reason after another at the start and now they refuse to respond to any form of communication, even tickets opened at their own website. I am still hoping that I will get the module I ordered from them as I really want this but am thinking that this is now unlikely ! Ian -
I am really looking forward to this module as well but I am in exactly the same situation. Sent several PM's and emails and not ever had a response. Ready to purchase but need answers !
-
I am getting exactly the same error as well. This is something to do with the connection through to eNom though as nothing else within WHMCS is working with them either today

The current version has expired - any updates available please ? -
Did you upload it in binary ?

lol - exactly what I came on to say but beaten to it. sgrayban says that he would have the means to go after Matt and WHMCS but how would he know if WHMCS was stealing information off of his server ?? Interesting to see the tone of other posts by sgrayban as well - there are many where he is confrontational. Obviously gets out of the wrong side of bed on a regular basis ! This is a great piece of software and plenty of people have been using it for a long time, so as Gustave has said on (too) many occasions (because people dont bother to read the previous history of the thread) - take it or leave it it is entirely your loss.
-
OK - had to ask though ! Another (maybe) silly question - what output are you expecting ? Do you have domains that are currently being transferred with Enom. I believe this script only sends out emails when it detects a change of status in the transfer.
-
Hi Is that the actual path that you have used in cron - you did substitute the correct path didnt you ? Sorry to ask but it has been done by plenty of people before ! The path length wont make any difference so i would suggest putting it back where it should be and then double checking you have the exact same same path. What is the error that you are getting ?
-
This is a convoluted way to solve the problem - why not just switch off curl verify SSL as suggested a couple of posts before by Gustave. But anyway, after logging a ticket with eNom when it first happen, they finally acknowledged that it was a problem and fixed yet late on 12th so it should all now be working as before Ian
-
Thats what you get when you try to help a few people on here I suppose. Just glad that almost all people on here arent like this. This is a great piece of software given to the community FOC in its current form
-
OK although there are too many people on here that are quick to complain. I am now also confused if you say that you will post bugs when they appear - havent you found many already ? As far as the one that you mention, I havent integrated it with my admin home page so cant directly comment but there are many people that have done so without problem. The fact that many have it working without problem and also the type of error that you are getting points to a syntax error that you have added when entering the code into your home page so I would suggest double checking that against the instructions
-
Not a very useful comment ! How about trying to be helpful and pointing out some of these "many bugs" so that if they do indeed exist, the author has a chance to fix them. For my part, I have been using this since the first release and while I have one issue (which I have already reported) it is a great addition to WHMCS.
-
Hi I have been getting this all the time and have reported it a while back - it comes back almost instantly with the error message so I dont think it is even trying to communicate with Enom regards Ian

Multiple Modules Available
fetish-hosting replied to arcdigital's topic in Commercial Modules and Addons
Hi While $50 doesnt seem so much for a fully featured accounting module - it is massive jump up from the approx $10 that was originally quoted especially when you are looking to charge $10 a year from everyone as well. You can see why people are starting to have a problem and I think you might end up losing a lot of interest from people. I would suggest releasing your first module so that people can see the quality of your work because so far you havent done anything that people can judge you by. Ian
