So I imagine you have developed a module for registrar OVH or Gandi ? It is possible to share ? Personally I don't have programming knowledge...:-( I think is too bad a module for OVH don't exist by default with WHMCS because it is a very cheap registrar (more then enom for example) and he permit to register many more extensions.... Same for Gandi but is more expansive... thank

The generated URL look like this: http://www.mysite.com/whmcs/knowledgebase/18/about-domain-name.html I would like change the folder name "knowledgebase" with another term because my site are not in english...How I can do that ? I have try top simply rename this term present inside htaccess file but this don't work and make error 404... Any suggestions ? thank cheers

hello I have modify header.tpl (of portal template version 4) for insert my own fixed logo-header of 700x120 pixels and all is ok...Now I would like apply a link to the whole header image but when I do that I get a border of 1 pixel All around the header...I have take a look inside style.css but I don't see where I can set this border to 0... I have try to insert a style directly in the code of my link like: <a href="http://www.mysite.com" style="text-decoration:none><img src="templates/{$template}/images/mylogo-header.png" /></a> ..but this hide my header and not only the border.. any suggestions ?? thanks cheers

OK in fact I have found the file to modify...it is "clientareaproductdetail.tpl".... Just need a feedback about the visible password on whmcs admin backend... thanks

Hi I see in whmcs admin backend in the customer section "product/services" the password of customer account (Cpanel) are visible...It is normal ? Is not possible to hide ? This maybe for prevent any sub-admin to see it... In fact am not sure to understand correctly...We can specify the username/password for Cpanel account and near this place I see a link "login to control panel" but this link redirect to WHM and not to Cpanel... For me is better like that but why this link to WHM ?? I see also in whmcs customer frontend the password of his hosting Cpanel is displayed in clear... For some personal reason I would like hide this password and also hide the section related to Connexion Information of Cpanel...In fact I would like avoid user to know the default Cpanel password set by me and avoid also user to change that password...I would like obligate user to login into whmcs frontend and click on "Cpanel button" instead user go directly to http://www.his-domain.com/cpanel. For do that I imagine I must modify a template...? Anybody can tell me witch one ? thanks

yes I agree...Actually no module permit us to register european domain.... Is possible to do also with http://www.gandi.net this is also a great registrar...

Hi I have just upgrade to version 4 but I don't understand well how to do about template. In fact I use a customized "portal" template where I have make a lot modification...Now I see new portal template are totally different and I see also some change are made in some template file as describe on wiki upgrade step here So how I must make my upgrade ? I would like continue to use my old customized portal template.... I start to make some confusion with my template, new portal template and modified template file.... I imagine the list of modified template files are not only modified for graphical reason but also because it contain new code ?? thanks Mirko

hello Sparky I have test your mod and it appear great...I get CpanelTools GUI with all option. Right now I am only interested to give ability to customer to create/manage their email box...I don't need other option... In fact is not possible to create email now because the domain name are not displayed in "Add a New Email Account" section...so I can not set any email address...This is normal ??? It is because is just a beta mod and you must finish to develop it ??? Another thing: I use Rvskin and for what I understand if some feature/option are currently hided in Cpanel they wont be also hided in your CpanelTools mod...It is right ??? If yes do you plan to add ability to show/hide option we want ??? thanks

For what I know you can use Paypal in France with account Premier or Business....If am not wrong Paypal Pro permit to manage payment like any other Bank gateway...but you must pay monthly fee for that...

keep iso-8859-1 instead utf-8 it work fine for me...but depend the language you need...

I mean specific country extension like .fr (France), .ch (Switzerland), .be (Belgium), .it (Italy) .de (Germany) and more.... 12$ are the bigger price if you manage only some domain but price can be more cheaper (between 6 to 12$) according the number of managed domain...Another great registrar is OVH with more cheaper price and this independing the number of managed domain...This 2 registrar are the more bigger, cheaper and well know in Europe...proposing lot of domain extension... http://www.ovh.co.uk/products/domain_tarifs.xml https://www.gandi.net/domain/price/info Personnally I don't mind for few $ because I want sell pre-packaged hosting with pre-installed stuff with domain included and other...so it is my customer will paid the price difference... Is just to bad Whmcs are focused only to US and UK audience by providing many registrar...but no one with ability to register european country extensions....Any registrar will always propose to get common extension like .com/.net/.org/.biz/.info but just few propose specific country extension...After is only a question of price and services no more...

I have ask me too for Gandi few weeks ago....The most big problem is whmcs allow several registrar but no one permit to register european domain :-((( Just for info Gandi give you a free SSL for one years with any registered domain..and next years for only 12$. Common domain are sell for 12$...

Maybe a CSS issue or javascript problem (with motools?).....Is better to ask your template provider about that...I don't have IE8 so I can not test....It is strange because IE8 are announced with 20% more WC3 compliant then any other version...

Hello I would like create a custom page with more less equivalent of page domainchecker.php... In fact I need a more simple page with only search domain display like domainchecker.tpl BUT without header, footer and other stuff... I want use this page for display across a iframe of my principal website..this only for make a check and no more... I have create a custom page following the doc: http://wiki.whmcs.com/Creating_Pages ..but I get only a domainchecker empty page without possibility to choose TLD... How I can run a custom domainchecker page and how I can etablish the domain check like original domainchecker.php do ??? Any suggestions ?

Yes me too..I don't like use encoded stuff paid or free...Using whmcs are little bit annoying for me...but it is a very popular software used by many people and it appear we can trust on their developer.... I understand the reaction of Operator...Most probably his intention are just to help and share his stuff no more...But with encoded stuff maybe a simple line of code are included and are able for example to send the list of all email customer (or more sensitive info) to him... In doubt I prefer to not use...to bad... I have explore all section of this forum and see a lot people propose free addon with open source code...very nice...Almost always the first code was modified by other people with nice improvement...The result are all people (included original coder) can benefit to the new work...

Sorry to re-open this old thread but I have take a look to this addon and appear to be nice...But for what I understand this permit to check email only when a user order a product...If a user want only subscribe without buy a product (typically when a user want become only affiliate) this addon will not work.... Any suggestion ?

I use this very nice module and I see the files configproductoptions.php appear to be modified on my actual online 3.8.1 version with checksum 3.8.1...I don't understand why because I don't remember to have change that file especially because it is a encrypted files...Now whit this patch 3.8.2 we must update this file, so before overwrite it I would like to know why it is mentioned like modified and why..Version 3.8.1 was the first fresh install made on my server... Any suggestions ?
