cPanelTools - Virtual cPanel for WHMCS

Recommended Posts

Hi Steve, you've got some css code that is mucking around with the format of the page compared to my other pages. Would it be possible to remove some of the css formatting that already exists by default in the templates (ie the font type & size for <p>, <h4> etc..?

Ah, you beat me too it, and moved the css outside of your original. Cheers.

These are the ones that I want to try and weed out. I found the same problem earlier and did make a couple of changes to them. Try the new download with the css changes.

Which icons are you talking about?

If it's on the front stats page it should look like the pic in the first post.

Could be that your theme width is set narrower than the standard "default" or "portal" and the div is wrapping under the stats table.

Can you PM me a screenshot please so that I can see what you mean.

Ahh.. Your probably right..

Hi RnR,

We use RVskin on all of our servers and we have confirmed that it works with RVskin. We have already had many of our Clients send us a thank you for this addon and look forward to the other portions of the Tools to be integreated.

Hi Keith, Good News, thanks for that info, I do appreciate it.

I have had a couple of queries about this with some themes being narrow.

I have had a play around and adjusted a few things so the absolute minimum width I can get it to is 570px.

I hope that will help!

I have also changed the header image to 1px width and repeating it across the top to allow for variable widths.

The width can be changed in the templates/YOUR_THEME/cPanelTools/includes/cPanelTools.css file on the second line.

Hello i downloaded and install it as per the instructions, and when i visit cpaneltools.php i can see the interface, but no info.!! everything is blank.

Is there anything to configure or something like that?

In your whmcs admin settings go to config => servers and make sure that the hostname is filled in on your cpanel servers

Did you create a link to it in your "header.tpl"? Or maybe I am not understanding your question. Sparky's mod works out of the box (as far as I have it).

For example, this is how we added a link to it in the Client Portal (only when the Client is logged in):

We added the link between

{if $loggedin} and {else}

This is the link that we used. We also contacted our cPanel Rep and verified that we could use the cPanel logo as the cPanel Tools image (cover our butts)

This is the code that we used so that it appears under the Client Area Link:

<tr><td> <a href="cPanelTools.php"><img src="images/cpanel.gif" height="16" width="22" alt="{$LANG.clientareatitle}" align="middle" /></a>  <a href="cPanelTools.php">cPanel Tools</a></td></tr>

I have already been in contact with cPanel about the use of images etc and according to Eric Gregory of cPanel the cPanel logo is fine to use as long as the image itself is not modified in any way and is also separate from other logos. This is Why I had to change the original image that I had (in the screenshots on the first post).

@HitekHosting - Dale, Check that you have the correct hostname in the whmcsadmin => config => Servers field for your cPanel servers. (It does not use the IP address field like whmcs). Also setting the width in the CSS to anything below 570px will still show as 570px as I have a min-width set.

I will PM you a solution to your width problem.
