Notification ticket or email has been opened by the customer

Hi is there any know working reading emails and tickets notification on the market?

I was using https://marketplace.whmcs.com/product/4874-whmcstricks-email-status but service has been discontinued and it is not workin with WHMCS 8

I see there is two more

. I send them email but get no response.

Is there any other solution to see is it ticket or email has been opened by the customer?

On they site said All other requests will be ignored. I guess they close they business

Even if the plugins still work in the latest WHMCS version (which I would assume in principle), in my opinion the detection would not be very reliable. Nearly every email client blocks outgoing HTTP connections by default, this has to be explicitly enabled by the user.

Of course you could deface your emails in such a way that the customer is practically forced to allow outgoing connections, as many do, but that would be a dubious approach.

What you could do is that you don't send relevant content via email and the customer has to click the link to read the full message. This would also gives you a reasonable click detection.

I had this addon before and it does not work in 8.0 . I opened a ticket with them and they came back saying they haven't even tried 8.0 yet.

looking at their site statement that they are no longer developing, and the fact that their addons have been removed from MP, I think you may have to look elsewhere.

I am aware that they have now stopped development. I contacted them before that was made public.

.. or use a SMTP gateway that can be used to tracks delivers and opens etc.

I've used Postmark: Application Email Service with Exceptional Delivery for many years.. it's brilliant. Note, you don't see the opens, clicks etc in WHMCS, only in the Postmark interface.
