Hi there,

Could you perhaps describe what is happening? Are you getting a specific error message?
Please let me know, I'd be happy to help or suggest something.

Unless there is a specific issue, we do have an online guide along with a video for you to look at showing you step-by-step how to setup a cPanel server at

Hostname/IP need to be without any color or port numbers.
You would need to remove the :2086 which should hopefully resolve this issue.

You should  be able to specify the default port later on in the Getting Started Wizard

Alternatively, you can also change/configure these settings in WHMCS, via Setup > Product / Services > Servers by clicking the Edit icon  of the server, under the Server Details section, where you can override the port to a custom number if needed.

The documentation for this feature is located at https://docs.whmcs.com/Server_Port_Overrides

Even when I removed the :2086 it still didn't work. I have tried a few different combinations with no success.

I think you should try port 2087 as that is the usual port used for WHM
If you're still find you're having issues, please raise a ticket with us, we'll be more than happy to take a look for you.

Let me know how it goes.
