Locked Client Profile Fields

Hi

One of my clients is trying to change his telephone number details and when changed the details are not saved.
None of these fields are checked.

Select any fields below that you want to prevent clients being able to edit from the client area:

First Name Last Name Company Name Email Address
Address 1 Address 2 City State/Region
Postcode Country Phone Number

Tested this with my Client Area and got the same result as the client:

  • Enter phone number.
  • Save changes.
  • Taken back to home page.
  • Number has not changed.

is your template a custom template or the built-in Six template?

does it give you the same behavior if you reproduce the same steps in Six template?

what version of WHMCS you have also?

that might be the problem... try it with a clean version of "Six" from the v7.4.1 download and see if that fixes it.

it might be that you're using an older version of the "Six" template that isn't quite compatible with the new phone number method.
