Nameserver IP on Edit Server Page Incorrect

When I add in nameservers on the Edit Server page, the IP address of the first nameserver gets replaced by the nameserver itself even thought I'm entering a numeric value. It saves fine, but when I go back to edit the server, the nameserver shows instead of the IP.

So it reads:

Primary Nameserver: ns1.example.com IP Address: ns1.example.com

Secondary Nameserver: ns2.example.com IP Address: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

This only happens with the primary nameserver and I'm seeing it on multiple servers and when using both the default V4 admin theme or my slightly customized version.

Unsure if this is a v6.2.0 error or if it existed a couple releases ago. I've not noticed it until recently.

Normally I wouldn't care, but I would imagine the IP won't show up on the New Account Information email like it should.

Hi,

I can advise this is a known issue in v6.2.0 and that case #CORE-9467 is open with our developers in order to have this reviewed for future releases. Unfortunately, I cannot provide an estimated time for completion for this. However, once we resolve cases and push features they are available at our change log, here:

I have the same issue and to overcome it until the fix is in place I have just edited the welcome email like this:

Replace:

({$service_ns1_ip})

with the actual ns1 IP of your server, so it will look like this:

(XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX.)

Of course this will only work if you are using one server for multiple servers I guess you will have to wait for the fix. :-)

My "fix" to it was going into phpMyAdmin and manually edit the table called "tblservers" with the IP addresses. Of course if you ever edit the server(s) again from the WHMCS admin side, the nameserver IP saves incorrectly again.

Thank you for your suggestion with the welcome email, unfortunately I am using multiple servers so that wouldn't work out.
