  1. My "fix" to it was going into phpMyAdmin and manually edit the table called "tblservers" with the IP addresses. Of course if you ever edit the server(s) again from the WHMCS admin side, the nameserver IP saves incorrectly again. Thank you for your suggestion with the welcome email, unfortunately I am using multiple servers so that wouldn't work out.
  2. Thank you brian, I did do a search but that didn't come up. Frustrating bug, but oh well, will wait for a fix.
  3. When I add in nameservers on the Edit Server page, the IP address of the first nameserver gets replaced by the nameserver itself even thought I'm entering a numeric value. It saves fine, but when I go back to edit the server, the nameserver shows instead of the IP. So it reads: Primary Nameserver: ns1.example.com IP Address: ns1.example.com Secondary Nameserver: ns2.example.com IP Address: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx This only happens with the primary nameserver and I'm seeing it on multiple servers and when using both the default V4 admin theme or my slightly customized version. Unsure if this is a v6.2.0 error or if it existed a couple releases ago. I've not noticed it until recently. Normally I wouldn't care, but I would imagine the IP won't show up on the New Account Information email like it should.
  4. I had the same issue, try checking your Cron path since it has changed in the new version. v6 puts the daily Cron at /YOUR-INSTALL-PATH/crons/cron.php
  5. My workaround to this was simply to copy the hostname into the IP Address field when you are in the Edit Server page of the admin area. The error magically disappears and single-sign-on works. I'm not saying that's the best or right method, but it worked and so I'm happy.
  6. Hi everyone, I've been messing around with themes in WHMCS and finally came up with a nice dark theme (using some custom Bootstrap styles and the Bootstrap WHMCS template) to compliment the darker redesign of my main site. Now when it came time to darken the cart portion of WHMCS, I set all the background colors to "transparent", and added class="btn" to all the places I could find submit buttons. As I'm using the Cart template as a base, I was hoping the added class would give the plain buttons a little more style. Unfortunately I've been unsuccessful thusfar in adding style to the "Click to Continue" and "Add to Cart" buttons. Is there something I can add to the cart files to help out with this? Here is an example of what I mean: /https://www.hostarmor.com/clients/cart.php?a=add&pid=1 compare that to the Order Now buttons here: /https://www.hostarmor.com/clients/cart.php Hopefully that all makes sense and thank you in advance for any help you can provide! Edit: It also looks like no styles are being applied to the domain TLD drop-down list. However, that is less of a concern for me, but it could add a nice touch to the design.
  7. Thank you insider1! That worked perfectly. I was unaware of the fix and the download says 06/07/2012 (which is when the release announcement went out and when I downloaded the upgrade). I wish WHMCS had sent out an email about the new update. Anyways, very helpful, everything is back to normal!
  8. This is when I visit /submitticket.php I clicked Display Errors in General Settings, this is what came up: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare ticketsummary() in /home/MYUSERNAME/public_html/clients/includes/ticketfunctions.php on line 0 Any help? I hope this will help out some other people having trouble with 5.1. I checked submitticket.php and ticksfunctions.php and they're exactly what was included with the upgrade. So far I've: -Disabled all addons. -Double-checked file permissions. -Switched to the Default theme (no modifications). -Switched the admin theme to Blend and then back to V4. -Changed the cart. -Tried it logged in and logged out. The upgrade was done from 5.0.3 and I had no problems with it. I'm 99% sure all the files were properly replaced too. The theme, cart, etc. all had to be changed back to the modifications I made, but I've switched to untouched other carts/themes with no success. I did see the other thread about this, but saw no resolution about the problem. Is this something I'm going to have to open in a ticket or has someone found a good solution?
  9. I feel really stupid for having missed this, but I had PHP in safe_mode even though I could have sworn I turned it off. @m8internet, thank you for the help, if I have trouble in the future I will be sure to try your suggestion. @laszlof, it was showing "0 Days 00:00:00", now it says "0.14 1 Days 09:02:54" like it should.
  10. Yes, it's added and I double checked the file upload and permissions on the folder and the index.php status file.
  11. Hi, I'm trying to monitor a server that's not being used for orders (I set the "Maximum No. of Accounts" to zero). I put in the IP address, hostname, and server status address but only the HTTP, FTP, POP3 monitors are showing up, the server load and uptime aren't. You can see the monitor live at http://www.hostarmor.com/clients/serverstatus.php It's a CentOS VPS I use for the VPS division of my company.
  12. Thanks, sounds good! Glad I've been keeping up with WHMCS patches/updates
  13. I believe I read this is the result of a hack that was patched with WHMCS 5.0.3 (which luckily I'm running). But I'm just wondering if I should be concerned and what the proper course of action would be? Delete ticket > ban IP > delete client? Would it be helpful to anyone to have the IP this came from? Should I be sending WHMCS the code for analysis or is it all the same code for the hacking attempts?
  14. There's the "WHMCS Bridge" plugin. I also saw the author has "WHMCS Bridge Pro". So far I've been unsuccessful in integrating it with my site but I am running a pretty heavily customized WordPress theme. Let me know if you get it working!
  15. After upgrading everything works perfect except for the server status. It shows the uptime and load but all the services icons are on failed/down instead of OK/up. I triple checked file permissions, the server status URL, and even went to the URL, it came up with: (Edited out the username for security purposes but that's what showed up and an error log in the server status folder came up with the same thing.) Am I missing something? Also, can't seem to figure out how to delete notes in the Staff Noticeboard, I added my username to the Master Admin IDs. Thank you Matt and WHMCS team, you guys have created the best billing software on the planet! Now if you could only take the place of PayPal as my payment processor
  16. Right now I have 3 web hosting plans set up with my site but I realized that the pricing didn't turn out too well (ended up doing $1 more for twice as much space/bandwidth). Granted I should've thought it through better when I originally set up the plans but what's done is done. If I change the prices on my site from let's say $6, $7, and $8 to $4, $6, and $8, will the people on the original $6 plan simply be credited for the extra price or do they just pay lower on their next invoice? I have two clients with yearly plans and several with monthly ones. (Please note that none of my clients are on the highest plan, so none of them should have to pay more. The clients I have are all on plans that would have a price reduction.)
  17. Agreed! I have Adobe Air sitting in my program list for some random reason.
  18. I don't trust Windows with anything (especially my WHMCS login). No offense to you or anything, it looks like a great utility but antivirus' fail and I wouldn't want that login getting out. And unfortunately I don't have a Mac. You might want to discuss the idea with some Linux coders, I think they'd love the project and I would love to have it working in a more secure environment.
  19. Is there a way to have a URL that automatically includes an Addon for a product? (What I'm thinking is the Links section/menu item when you edit a product in WHMCS.) e.g. http://www.example.com/clients/cart.php?a=add&pid=1&Addon=1 (obviously not a real URL but you get the idea)
  20. I'm not looking for integration services. I was simply asking if there is a way to only show WHMCS products without the header, footer, sidebar, menu, or any other part of WHMCS. Like a "buy now" button but with the full product description. I don't want to modify my WHMCS theme because I like it and my design site is blue and my hosting site is green so integration would not help my branding.
  21. Because I don't want to integrate it in that way. WHMCS handles transactions for different parts of my business. Right now I'm asking about my hosting part but it does handle transactions for my web design site too, so I don't want it looking like one site or the other.
  22. I want to JUST have the slider/comparison chart from my WHMCS site displayed on my WordPress site's homepage and then allow clients to click and continue the order on the WHMCS site (it's installed in a directory under the root of my site). An iframe will show the whole WHMCS site. Is there a way to show just the cart's slider or comparison chart (just the products, nothing else)? As it currently is, I have a comparison chart image with an image map that links to the individual products but that doesn't make for a very nice integration or interactive products. Thanks in advance!
