Cancelled Invoice - Email to Client

Hello all,

 

I have just come across something that for some reason has not come up in the last couple of years using WHMCS.

 

If we cancel an invoice for whatever reason, even though it shows as cancelled within WHMCS it does not automatically send the Cancelled Invoice to the client notifying them of it along with showing the 'Cancelled' tag within the updated invoice.

 

Is this normally a manual thing? If so, how can it be done?

Hi,

I can confirm that cancelling an invoice in WHMCS does not currently send any emails to clients.

However you could potentially customise WHMCS to send one using an action hook:
